We live in an area that is more rural but yet there are a lot of residences, one lane neighborhoods, etc. In the three years that we've been in this house, there have been at least 5 murders within 8 miles of our home. It helps to remember that these were not stranger/victim murders, except one. These victims all knew the person. No, it doesn't justify anything or make it any less horrible. I understand.
