I had my first person link up to Memory Monday. Would love to have more people join in.

I'm heading out of town tomorrow morning, but will have some time on Monday to read through everyone's posts.

A bit of a patchy week, but that's okay, because it wasn't our first "official" week back because a) we didn't take the summer off, and b) school for everybody else starts here (Toronto) on Tuesday.

What did we do?

Dd6, Grade 1:

- a bit of camouflage with Elemental Science

- met Piet Mondrian with Meet the Masters

- back into the groove with Hebrew and Chumash (Hebrew Bible study)

- read and narrated the story of Joseph in SOTW

- weekly Parsha (Torah/Bible portion) copywork

- tons of fun with JUMP Math!

- introduced new "Daily" assignments from Evan-Moor... and tried to figure out where we're going with this whole School Year thing

Ds3, JK:

- cut and cut and CUT some more!!!

Looking forward to seeing everybody's week!

Here's our week. I just kind of blabbed on in a fairly disorganized fashion. This week felt kind of crazy and emotional.

My son is going off to college tomorrow. I have been weepy all week. I know we are all going to fall apart tomorrow after my husband and son leave for Boston. I'm bracing myself.

Somehow having two at college hurts more. The family will feel so small......

Our week is done! BTW, does anyone know how to rotate pictures on blogger?? I was going to post more pics, but couldn't figure out how to rotate...

Do you mean like a slideshow? This might help.

Here's mine - first one I've ever done. I've enjoyed reading everyone else's and decided I need to add pictures next week. We still have to do science today, but the kids love science, mainly thanks to the Mythbusters.

I'll add the Memory Monday in soon, we aren't doing much memory work yet, except Latin.
