Luanne
... my daughter prefers crunchy. Normally I don't think about it too much and we tend to have both kinds in the house. Right now we are out of creamy and I had to eat crunchy on my crackers. :glare:
Starr
Crunchy is what I prefer. If you are asking about my family well that's going to be another poll. :)
Needleroozer
I think I am allergic to peanut butter now, sigh. The last time my son had it, my throat started to close up. Haven't bought any since it happened. My son will be so very disappointed- he was eating it like crazy. But that isn't what you asked......... if I could have it, I would have crunchy. Adam's- the good healthy kind without corn syrup. That was my fave..........
IsabelC
I don't care about the texture but it has to be 100% peanuts: no sugar, no salt, definitely no canola/vegetable oil or emulsifiers. Preferably freshly ground.
Crimson Wife
Crunchy is what I prefer. If you are asking about my family well that's going to be another poll. :) :iagree:
Rosie_0801
Crunchy if I'm eating it. Smooth if it's to make playdough :D Rosie
Laura Corin
Peanut butter.... stuck to my teeth, the roof of my mouth..... vile. I like peanuts though. Laura
Chris in VA
Gimme what I grew up on--Skippy Creamy all the way. Gotta try that Nutella stuff, tho--some "hive" thingy says it's great! :D
mom2denj
I am definately a creamy penut butter girl. My kids also like creamy. My husband is a crunchy pb guy!
MamaT
All creamy in my house.
The Girls' Mom
I put both. I really like the coarser ground natural peanut butter...it's not quite smooth, but not quite crunchy either.
Hikin' Mama
It doesn't matter to me as long as it's ONLY peanuts and salt. No sugar, no hydrogenated oils. I like the taste of almond butter better, though.
dirty ethel rackham
I like crunchy, but I have a son with sensory issues, so I always bought creamy. Since he can't have peanut butter anymore, I may have to try crunchy again:). I'll have to see if there is a rebellion from the other kids. meet me in paris
I put both. I really like the coarser ground natural peanut butter...it's not quite smooth, but not quite crunchy either. this is me, too! Since I started making my own about a year ago, the "smooth" varieties feel fake to me. Nothin' like fresh pb.
danybug
Creamy all natural and plain for my family! My mom always gets annoyed when I make any dessert with the natural one because she says it changes the taste. Oh, how I love peanut butter! Funny thing is, that I do not really like anything that has peanut butter in it though. Just plain peanut butter out of the jar or on a sandwich. ElizabethB
Creamy, but now I must have sunbutter instead because of allergies. It actually tastes very yummy!
Brigitte
I love crunchy, but no one in my family will eat it. So, I generally only have creamy in the house. Crunchy with Nutella on homemade white bread is simply divine.
Daisy
I buy natural peanut butter and don't care if it is creamy or crunchy. We eat it all. :D
gardening momma
I voted creamy, but I'll eat crunchy without a problem if we're out of creamy. Dh prefers crunchy, so we always have both in the house.
Crissy
Jif. Crunchy. Probably full of additives and bad-for-you fat. By the spoonful. Delicious.
Truscifi
I voted creamy, but I'll eat crunchy without a problem if we're out of creamy. :iagree:Our current fave is whipped creamy - so light and fluffy! I don't make homemade peanut butter, but I do make cashew butter. It is ever so yummy on bread with a little honey.
MomOfOneFunOne
crunch -- the crunchier the better. Yummy!

LittleIzumi
Whatever you call the thick paste that comes out of the grind-it-yourself peanut machine. It's more creamy, but reaaaaaally thick with some teeny chunks in it.

Dawn in OH
I don't care about the texture but it has to be 100% peanuts: no sugar, no salt, definitely no canola/vegetable oil or emulsifiers. BikeBookBread
Jif.Crunchy. Probably full of additives and bad-for-you fat. By the spoonful. Delicious. My parents buy Jif, and I have to say, it was so good....after 10 years of natural style peanut butter, I felt like I was eating a Reese's sandwich when we went visiting over T-giving. No WONDER the girls wanted PB sandwiches and PB on crackers constantly...they never want it at home!!!
Matryoshka
Crunchy crunchy crunchy! Don't even want to hear about that creamy stuff! Blech! I made sure to never have it in the house so I could brainwash my kids... bwahahaha. :D It must be some kind of texture preference - I also want crunchy things in my ice cream (chocolate chunkes, nuts, brownie chunks...) The only difference of opinion in our house is the brand - I like Maranatha best, kids & dh like Teddy. Mine's organic, theirs isn't, but they're both natural (peanuts, salt). Jen in PA
Creamy or crunchy, but always in large quantities. I never really liked pb until about a year ago, and now I love the stuff.
joannqn
Adam's Crunchy. I buy Adam's Creamy for my kids, though. Speaking of peanut butter, I'm making dairy free peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies right now. It's a test because I've never made dairy free cookies before. This recipe was on the butter flavored Crisco can.
PinkInTheBlue
I love crunchy but the natural peanut butters around here are all smooth. Thereby, I eat smooth at the moment. :)
Tap
Crunchy for me. The kids like to alternate between crunchy and creamy.
