Far too many villages, towns & cities to mention, so I'll stick to countries/provinces which is a far shorter list.

Canada:

BC, SK, ON

Germany

USA:

CA

KS

OH

MA

and, if six weeks qualifies as living somewhere (I was staying with relatives), Alaska.

And, of course, travelling adds provinces, states & countries, but I'm not a globe trotter, just UK, various European countries (the latter when I lived there), Mexico.

If I could just up and live somewhere else, I'd live in either Iceland or Australia. Yeah, lots in common there, eh? (for those who don't know eh is pronounced like a long a. Do you know that while I grew up saying it, as a kid I never realized it was spelled eh.)

Cumberland Plateau here, too, different little town down the road from Regena.

I moved to Greenville, SC then to

Honolulu, HI then to

Pittsburgh, PA then to

Fayetteville, NC then to

Alexandria, VA then to

Columbia, SC then to

Heidelberg, Germany then back to

Greenville, SC then to

Fort Dix, NJ then to

Charlottesville, VA then to

Bel Air, MD then to

Johnson City, TN.

And as the 4 y/o dd would say, "And here I am!"

I'd love to live in Charlottesville or Greenville again. Probably will end up back up the mountain on the Plateau, though.

I've lived in

Concordia, MO (town about an hour east of KC)

Lincoln, NE (great little city!)

Dallas, TX

Waco, TX

Duncanville, TX (suburb of Dallas)

DH and I would like to live in Northern Colorado someday, or even back somewhere in the midwest. Although I've lived here almost 25 years, I'm really not much of a fan of Texas.

Colorado:banghead: Cold, long winters, LOTS of driving. Everything is spread out here.

Colorado winters seem short and warm compared to MN.

:iagree: about everything being spread out here!

I drive all the time! :auto:

Montgomery, AL

My favorite place was England. Emotionally, for many reasons, it's my "home." :) But I'll move just about anywhere. I enjoy moving.

Here it is, my whole life:

Born in Lansdale PA 1968

Tucson AZ 1970

California 1971

Quakertown PA 1972-1977

Brentwood, Essex, England 1977-1980

Dearborn MI 1980-1986

London, England 1986-1988

Sao Paulo, Brazil 1988

Dearborn, MI 1988-1993

Westland MI 1993-2002

Grand Blanc MI 2002-now

There is no place I'd rather be than in England (other than where I am now 'cause I love it here) (Except maybe Buenos Aires where my parents are from and where I'd love to spend more time....)

dh was a USMC. Now we don't move at all..sigh...

We've lived:

Ohio

several places in Florida

Beaufort, SC, twice

Meridian, MS, twice

2 different places in IL

9 different places used to be more impressive in the 11 years we did it at first. We've been here 7 years, so 9 moves in 18 years doesn't sound as impressive!

I grew up in Utah and never lived anywhere else till I was 18. Since then I've lived in Jerusalem and Kyrgyzstan, all over Idaho, New Jersey, and soon will be moving to Washington.

I would like to live by the ocean someday, and in China and Tajikistan. I'd love to live in Cairo too.

Since moving out of my parent's house at 18 my dad has over 30 different addresses in his rolodex for me! Granted, I moved to lots of different places within the same town many times. But, in the last 18 years, I haven't stayed at the same address from more than 18 months! AND...we are moving again this fall...hopefully to No. CA.

Here is my list...Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, Kansas, and Washington State.

My favorite place by far has been WA. Love the NW.

My dream is to live in Paris or on the coast of England on a sheep farm!

Let's see...

I was born in NYC

Then we lived in Woodbury, CT

Then Springfield, NJ

and back to NYC

Moved to Memphis

then GA (high school years)

then I took off for FL (college years)

and finally came 'home' to Memphis

I was determined my kids would not have a lot of moving around or switching schools!

*there were a few more back and forth moves between NYC and CT, but I can't remember them all!

Actually, she's my "aunt-in-law", if that's an actual term. Love visiting her wonderful home overlooking Lac Lemann. When did you live there?

We were there in 1979. We lived in an apartment on Route De VeyVey right by the park on Lac Lemann at the end of the bus line. I was 9 yrs old. There used to be an elementary school right there that I went too.

I love Switzerland and I hope to go back with my family someday. I have great memories of exploring the city via the bus system. :)

I was born and raised near Milwaukee WI,

Then I met a Sailor and we were married in Newport RI, then we went to Bremerton WA, then off to Virginia Beach VA, then to Mayport FL. Then back to Newport RI, then he went off to Bremerton WA and I moved with the kids to Muskego WI (he was going to be on deployment and the ship was not returning to WA) then we went back to Virginia Beach VA, then to Mayport FL, and now we're in Chesapeake VA. This has all happened since we married in 1997. We should be getting new orders again in mid 2009, we're hoping he'll just transfer to a new command here in VA but who knows what the Navy will have up their sleeve for us.

In 7 years he'll retire and we're planning to buy a ranch in Oklahoma or Texas.

Moved to Sanford, FL with dh (16 years).

Moved back to Indy 4+ years ago. I like it here!

Freetown, Sierra leone

London, England

Glasgow, Scotland

New Jersey

Now, I am planning on moving to North Carolina.

I would like to live in England :)mostly because most of my family and friends are there. Not London though, too dirty and congested, maybe somewhere in Kent which close enough to London for me.

I love Nashville; would live in Greenville or Bowling Green; but now that I've visited a few more places, I could totally see myself living in England or Portland, OR. I'm fond of clouds and rain! I almost forgot: could totally settle down in San Diego. What weather!

I have lived in Alabama, Millington, TN, and San Diego, CA. Now we're headed to Pensacola, FL.

I would LOVE to live in Washington State for a while (I LOVE the rain). I'd also really like to retire to Australia or New Zealand. But I'd like to travel too, KWIM? There are so many interesting places to see. But I dont' want to do "touristy" things, I just want to "experience" other "cultures" for periods of time.
