can anyone tell why the answers to set ll problems are not included in the teacher's guide? Is there an on-line resource that could help me out here?

My dd will be in 8th grade this year and I can't figure out the next step in math. The last chapter in the R&S math 7 introduces basic algebra. She has done very well with it and enjoys it. At what grade is Algebra typically started? I guess what I'm trying to ask is do I get her an algebra book or is "pre-algebra" next? What is pre-algebra? Help! :tongue_smilie:

I'm trying to decide between these two programs. Can anyone give a thumbs up or down for either? I'm leaning towards Edu-Tracker because of the many forms it offers. I'm afraid though that if it is too complicated I maybe overwhelmed and won't use it. :001_huh:

Yes! Me too...infact that is what Iwas going to say.....I hate it when someone says they will be "gifting" their son a new bike on his birthday, or they were "gifted" a dustbuster for Christmas. What is up with that? It's kind of a recent thing isn't it?

I didn't read the entire article, but of what part I did, it reminded me of what the Nazi's did during WWII...the boys and girls had to attend "clubs" and where indoctrinated in the ways and thoughts of being a Nazi and were encouraged to turn in their parents if they did not go along with the new party line.

How about the black door and then plant some red flowers in pots....maybe black urns? That would look classic! :D

We're currently renting a beach house in Hawaii...a block away from the beach. The house has everything you would need...even the beach toys and snorkel gear. We do have a rental car. Lizards abound, there is a lemon or orange tree in the back yard and just yesterday we found a wild avocado tree. :001_smile:

We could provide one from Hawaii.... I did this same project about 8 years ago...we still have our collection ;)

well, if it has a playlist player on there like my blog does then you can turn it off by pushing the first little button on the player. Otherwise I don't know. :confused:
