bettyandbob
I made shepherd's pie (actually 3, I'm freezing 2) and cherry pie (frozen cherries to start). It took my dh awhile to realize why I'd done this. He's an English major. Sometimes I don't get his references to Robert Burns.

I I would like to start a new day to follow Pi Day - Casesar Salad for the Ides of March
dirty ethel rackham
I bought the ingredients to make pie, but was too tired to actually do it (trying day.) So, dh went out and bought a pie instead. I may make one next week, in honor of the 20th anniversary of my dad losing his battle with cancer.

Loowit
Youngest is making pizza crust and DD is going to bake the pizzas. I was planning to bake a couple pies but I am not feeling up to it. DH picked up a frozen caramel apple pie that older DS baked for me today.

happypamama
I love that stores and restaurants celebrate Pi Day with $3.14 deals — math is cool! I made tuna pot pie, blueberry crumb pie, and cherry pie. My 6yo (who helped me make the cherry) says we have outdone ourselves, which is his highest form of praise.
PinkTulip
I had a crazy day, but bought a raspberry pie and a pizza (pie) for dinner.
Zuzu822
I wasn’t in the mood for wrestling with crust, so we made brownies in my pie dish. The kids thought it was funny, and the result was delicious! In retrospect, we should have determined if wedge-shaped pieces contain more brownie than squares. :D
MorningGlory
I'm trying so hard to lose weight and get in shape (one that is not so reminiscent of this particular day..ha!) that I announced that I wasn't making pie this year. There was momentary anarchy. Younger son promptly drove to town and came back with a bakery apple pie and vanilla ice cream, and everyone was happy. Except me. lol!!! My sons are thrilled that ESPN has pi beside their logo today (watching first four in game).
