kalanamak
Don't forget Genevieve (1954) and the original The Lady Killers. I love love love A New Leaf. Those all bear rewatching. For a one time, Airplane was so funny my "date" moved away from me, and I also laughed immodestly at Oh Brother Where Art Thou, from the moment the credits ran and I saw it was based on the Odyssey. A short Ren and Stimpy, about one of them being terribly sick and the other doing ICU work on them was my all time side splitter. My ex and I, still in the throws of residency and ICU work, screamed so loudly we were boo'd in the Angelica, in NYC, I think. Ah well, and then there were the days of Animal House...seen in "Aggieville" in my home town the opening week of classes. The audience was rowdier than the film, and I recall a food fight and general streaking going on. And almost everyone in togas.

4kids4me
Dodgeball... saw this in the theatre and laughed all the way through. "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball." Valk I agree...Dodgeball was hilarious. I also agree with Kissy...Along Came Polly..."I sharted," had me laughing so hard I could hardly gasp for air. I don't know if it was the mood I was in when I watched it, but Elf really had me laughing, too. 50 First Dates had me laughing AND crying. My dh especially loved Guess Who with Bernie Mac. One of my mom's favourite ones is Hitch with Will Smith. And scenes of The Break Up had me laughing, though it's not on the top of my list of funny movies. Finally, if you can stand language, the Ali G show, seasons one and two is just plain old HILARIOUS.
