GWOB
I am seriously considering sneaking out of the house while everyone is sleeping! Our tiny town theatre will have a seat for me ;). However, I am lame and will wait for tomorrow night to see it with my family.
catz
I'm seeing that from friends on FB now and I'm so jealous! My oldest is reading the Hobbit right now so at least I have hope of seeing it in the theater. Meh.
Remudamom
My kids are sitting here telling me they have to get up in the morning.........it's so late......we're tired. Dh is already asleep. GAH!!!
Heidi
Oh we are! Not to see a movie, but the meteor shower... I thought that was what the thread was about. All well. Our event is free anyway!

Amy in NH
You can come along with us! DH & the 2 youngers are taking a nap. They'll be getting up in another 15 minutes! YAY!!! I hope we get seats...
readwithem
We thought about it. But dd came home from study abroad with a nasty sinus infection and we just got home from traveling this week. Plus I read you needed to get in line at noon today to get a seat! So we'll go tomorrow, which is dd's 21st birthday so it will be a fun way to celebrate
ccolopy
DH took DS and three of his friends. I'm a little jealous!
Slartibartfast
Dh has to work early :( I wish. I couldn't go without him. It would be too mean.
Lawana
Dh has to work early :( So does my dh, but that isn't stopping him from taking dd. He's napping now in preparation.
Elinor Everywhere
I am NOT that fun mom. In fact, it's almost 9:00 and I'm in bed reading the boards on my iPad. My dh will pick up my dd from a Speech & Debate party, and I'll read once I'm done here. I want to be the midnight movie mom, but in reality I'm the asleep-by-10 mom. mama2cntrykids
I would LOVE to bring my oldest boys, but with only $61 in the bank, it's NOT happening. Phooey!
I talk to the trees
We had planned to go to the midnight showing, but wouldn't you know it?! I woke up this morning with a doozy of a migraine. So here I sit, head packed in ice, smelling like a candy cane from all the peppermint oil (not sot bad, really) waiting for my meds to kick in. :sneaky2: Have fun, those of you that are going!! PrairieSong
Two of our girls are going, but dh and I don't do midnight movies. I have never been a big night owl.
GailV
I think midnight has been sold out here for a while. Tomorrow morning at 11:30ish, 3D IMAX -- the main attraction for some of us is seeing the 9 minute Star Trek trailer. :coolgleamA:
dhudson
Going with my oldest! So very excited!
Tap
DS18 was supposed to go with friends from school. BUT his one and only traditional final exam for college is at 8am tomorrow AM. :( All of his others are online or papers. He is going tomorrow with another group of friends but I know he is bummed. The group going tonight is his fellow college friends who are all done with finals today.
Halftime Hope
While I stay at home boring boring boring because my teens are too poopy to stay up all night!! How can these people be MY children??? Well, RM, if you have to stay home, wrap up warm and go out to enjoy the light show. It's Gemenid night! If you have clear skies, you are one lucky gal--we've got some moderate cloud cover, so I'm going to bed. Booooooooo!
somo_chickenlady
Oh we are! Not to see a movie, but the meteor shower... I thought that was what the thread was about. All well. Our event is free anyway! Same here! I was out bundled in a blanket, watching the stars! We live in the middle of nowhere, so I saw a TON of them! Lizzie in Ma
I don't do midnight, can't wait to go Saturday. We have a fantastic Cinema Pub so it is a whole big thing for us to go out to a movie, we rarely do so.
Heather in Neverland
Well it will be midnight for some of YOU but it will be noon on Saturday for ME. :) We are going with another family and I am SO EXCITED!!!!
SquirrellyMama
Same here! I was out bundled in a blanket, watching the stars! We live in the middle of nowhere, so I saw a TON of them! We saw the meteor shower on the way home from the theater. I hadn't heard about it so it was a fun end to our girls' night out.
