musicianmom
DH brought my gift home today. It's in a box that's 6' x 6' and 6" thick. He said it will have to be put together. Who can guess what it is?
DaffodilDreams
Bookshelf! ETA: now that i think about it, 6' wide might be too big of a pack for a bookshelf Scratching head, trying to think of something else. joannqn
The finished product would be 6' by 6'. Guess the box would be more like 6' by 1' by 15" or something.

Xuzi
A painting. A really, really big one. Terri But the clue was that it "has to be asssembled". Maybe a paint-by-number?

BeachGirl
I saw your handle and immediately thought he bought you a harp. I probably am off of my rocker on this one but maybe he bought something musical?
Lovedtodeath
Oh what fun! I have no idea, but let us know. I want all kinds of things my dh isn't comfortable with yet. I am hoping he trusts me enough to get them anyway.
musicianmom
We just got a TV on Black Friday, so that's out. We have a nice piano, so that's out. A harp, no way. They're too stinking expensive for one thing, plus I already play three instruments and don't have time to practice. I have to admit, when he first mentioned that the gift was large, I briefly hoped for an organ. Used ones can be fairly inexpensive. But obviously no organ can fit in this box. I can't imagine him being this excited about a piece of furniture, not the kind that requires assembly, anyway.
Mergath
Maybe some kind of really massive closet organizing set?
OnTheBrink
It's a modular room! He's going to give you a room of your own that's off limits to the kids and that is soundproof. That's IT! I just know it!

DaffodilDreams
So I googled the pkg dimensions. Here are some items that came up: Green house Vinyl privacy fence panel Lots of art (though that doesn't have to be assembled) Are you a gardener? ; )
plansrme
Is it heavy? I ALWAYS guess my own presents. Guessing someone else's is another story. I am still going with painting and think "has to be assembled" is a red herring. Of course it could be ANYthing from Ikea. The Ikea people could fit a sofa in a package that size. Cinder
My first thought was treadmill. I can't wait to hear what it is! ezrabean2005
I was thinking exercise equipment, too, but I think the box would be thicker than 6", so now I have no ideas.
