I wouldn't give him your only copy even if it was just for him to copy. He doesn't sound very trustworthy. I honestly would take pictures of the contract on my phone and offer to text them to him. He can figure out how to print from there. :glare:

Several songs from the Phantom of the Opera. My daughter has become obsessed with the 25th anniversary edition and plays it constantly. I shower with the songs in my head. I walk to the bus with the songs in my head, etc... It is driving me crazy. The bright side is now she is interested in Les Miserable. I guess I will get to have a whole new set of songs in my head soon!

Is there any way that you could Skype the family during the festivities so that the your family could at least talk to those who were able to attend MIL's dinner? My daughter was able to speak with several cousins on Thanksgiving that way. That way your family isn't so left out and you can "make an appearance" without driving 6 hours each way.

On pasta for a pesto pasta. That is my daughters favorite. I love it on a panini. Sourdough bread, pesto, turkey, havarti and grilled to perfection. The combo is wonderful.

I have to work but my daughter should be viewing it in a few moments near San Francisco Airport. She is parking on the top of a mall garage parking lot to get a great view. The airplanes are in the flight path normally so she should get a great view. I wish I knew about it earlier. I would have taken the day off of work.

So, it depends. It depends on how responsible the adult in charge is and it depends on how mature and responsible the child is. Starting at around the age of six, I helped my dad on the roof with the beehives he kept up there. He was very careful to watch me closely and make sure I didn't go near the edge without him there. He didn't let my brother help out until he was 10 because my brother didn't take directions very well. It really depends on the child. If you have a child who is mature for their age and listens and follows directions then go for it.

I've been a 4-H leader for the past 5 years and have never received a gift.

The bar down the street has regulars who blow off illegal fireworks every Saturday night at 11:00. They have been doing this for years. It goes on for five minutes and then they stop. 20 seconds later we hear a cop car approaching at high speed. They never catch them. I guess they wait down the street for the cool show to be over before approaching. It used to bug me but my daughter and I just open the curtains at 10:45 now to watch.

I can think of a few people on this board who would wish for your phone.:001_smile:

My daughter and I both have Samsung Galaxy phones. They do get very hot while charging. I don't know why but both have overheated a few times. I am at the end of my contract period and may switch though I LOVE the features on the phone and I don't want to switch. I might need to because the phone keeps freezing and not responding though.

All of the major casinos are in South Lake Tahoe. There is a nice beach nearby where you can relax and read. The water will be very cold even in August but it is certainly refreshing. Enjoy your stay.

Both my daughter and I use brightly colored lanyards. People laugh at us but we always know where the keys are. Sometimes my hands are full and it is quite useful to just throw the lanyard around my neck and know where my keys are located.

I work for a company that sells the state regulations for our state. People tell me all the time that they just do digital x-rays. Digital is just a way of looking at the x-rays. The machine still emits waves into the human body which is why our state regulates that activity. Tell them under no circumstances that they may do more x-rays without permission on your son. San Carlos has a charter learning school that is good with kids with learning disabilities. My friend had her youngest son there. You don't have to live in San Carlos either. They live about 20 miles away and drove him there daily because it was on the way to the dads work.

Oakland is 40 miles from Fairfield, Sacramento is 48. You will have the easiest drive from Sacramento though and you won't have to drive over any bridges.

Why don't you tell SIL1 that SIL2 is not welcome but her child is? Maybe that child can fly up for the week so she can see her cousins. I wouldn't put up with someone who acts like SIL2. She needs to know her boundaries if she will be coming to visit you. She stays in a hotel/motel. You only have her over for short periods of time. Lay down rules and stick with them. She sounds dreadful and it is your house and your rules. Good luck with whatever decision you make about her visit.
