My little Pommie is dying....

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry. I just cat sat for my company and found out the family came home and decided to put Rusty down. He had peritinitis (not sure of the spelling there) and hardly ate anything. They'd just lost their other cat a few months before. It's hard to let go.

Lots of :grouphug:

We have a beautiful pit bull mix named Belle. I found her roaming the street when she was only 6 weeks old. She will be 13 in January. She is the kindest most gentle dog I have ever met. She has changed a lot of people's perceptions about her breed. She certainly did mine. I know she is on the decline. I am hoping she will be here until Christmas. I can't imagine losing her. She is a beloved member of our family. We have had her longer than both of my boys.

:grouphug: Just wanted you to know that I know exactly how you are feeling!!!

God Bless,

Elise in NC

:grouphug: We adopted a pair of rescue dogs when we got married 11 years ago. We had to put the male down last fall at about 15 years old due to a collapsed esophagus. I dread losing our little girl, too, but she's 14 years or so, and I know it's coming. Just love 'em. :grouphug:
