Mommyfaithe
She is 15. I have had her since she was a puppy.....longer than some of my kids. She is slowly fading. I just gave her a bath and washed her face...bundled her up and put her in her favorite place to sleep. I am sad. Faithe

Mommyof4ks
:( It is so sad watching our fuzzy friends fade. We had to put our doggy down earlier this week (she was suffering and in pain). My kids don't remember life without our dog.

Mom25girls
I'm so sorry. Our cat was 21 when he died last month. Even our Golden Retriever is still mourning. :grouphug:
Chris in VA
I'm sorry. I just cat sat for my company and found out the family came home and decided to put Rusty down. He had peritinitis (not sure of the spelling there) and hardly ate anything. They'd just lost their other cat a few months before. It's hard to let go. Lots of :grouphug:
Tree House Academy
I am so sorry. I lost my 13 year old cat a year ago this past July and the pain is still there...even with 7 other cats. I totally understand. *hugs*

speedmom4
We have a beautiful pit bull mix named Belle. I found her roaming the street when she was only 6 weeks old. She will be 13 in January. She is the kindest most gentle dog I have ever met. She has changed a lot of people's perceptions about her breed. She certainly did mine. I know she is on the decline. I am hoping she will be here until Christmas. I can't imagine losing her. She is a beloved member of our family. We have had her longer than both of my boys. :grouphug: Just wanted you to know that I know exactly how you are feeling!!! Jennay
I'm so sorry. I'm sure she knows how much you love her. It's so hard - we lost our 11.5 Maine Coon cat in August and even though he was truthfully a very difficult cat I still miss him soooo much. rgrin
:grouphug: We adopted a pair of rescue dogs when we got married 11 years ago. We had to put the male down last fall at about 15 years old due to a collapsed esophagus. I dread losing our little girl, too, but she's 14 years or so, and I know it's coming. Just love 'em. :grouphug:
