HollyDay
If money were no object and you could go to any concert, who would you want to see/hear? Mine would definitely be Ricky Martin as a first choice. It should probably be something more "refined" or dignified - but I just adore his voice! Benise would be a close 2nd Julie Andrews when she could sing would have been a top pick too. Or maybe Il Divo? I would love to hear what you guys like now! Carrie12345
The real Guns N Roses. I would seriously consider selling my children if that were to ever happen. Dh is a parrot head. I don't remember what kiddie fans are called, but mine are those. Dh has been to 2 Buffett concerts this year. For work. I want his job. laylamcb
Yeah, I'm kinda over the coliseum-style concert. BTDT, too many times. I'm old now--can't take the crowds or the noise level. ;) But give me a pub, or a place like the Birchmere? Oh, I'd love to see folks like Old Blind Dogs, Natalie McMaster, Bela Fleck...pretty much anyone they've got there. It's magical.
nakitty
Elton John....I really really wanted to see him and Billy Joel when they toured together....*sigh* I also adore Bette Midler.....me and all the gay men....
Pam "SFSOM" in TN
Boston Camerata. Ahhh, bliss! And if I could go back in time, I'd hear Robert Hale & Dean Wilder. And the American Boychoir, naturally. ;) Especially with the NY Philharmonic. Nice. Oh, and now that Ralph Stanley has endorsed a certain Senator, I'll be even more eager to go hear him while I still have a chance to do so. I do love me some oldtime bluegrass! Niffercoo
I would love to see Blue October and Muse if I didn't think I would look entirely too old to be there. And my kids are too young to go to concerts so I couldn't even take them and pretend I was just an uninterested chaperone! I would also love to take my girls to see Daughtry, but again, I think they are too young. My 6 year old with autism absolutely LOVES Chris Daughtry --- she even made a Mii of him on our Wii! LOL As for the older groups from my youth, I'd love to see Queensryche, Motley Crue, Metallica, Def Leppard... someone mentioned Guns N Roses and that would be amazing! At least at those concerts, I wouldn't seem as out of place! :)
ekarl2
Okay, here are mine ... Brian Setzer Orchestra Michael Buble (again ... his concert was fantastic!!!!) Billy Joel/Elton John together (that would have been SOOOO sweet!) Billy Joel ABBA Huey Lewis and the News (I've always loved him ... what a cool dude!) They Might Be Giants (before they were a Disney kids group) Might Blue Kings/Cherry Poppin' Daddies/any of the '90s swing revolution groups Sigh .... Carrie12345
Matchbox Twenty or their lead singer, Rob Thomas--they're the only ones I'd care enough to go to a concert of. Matchbox 20 is great in concert! We saw them with Train opening. Garth Brooks (yeah, but I hear he puts on a great show) I've never been to a "real" Garth Brooks show, but I he did do a few songs at the Grand Ole Opry when I was in Nashville with 499 other Girl Scouts. He was supposed to have left town that day, but he stayed just for us!:D
whitestavern
I've seen a lot of the performers I really wanted to. I'd have to pick a classic like Aerosmith or the Stones. If they don't have to be alive, the Doors. Jim Morrison was just yummy.

Mama Lynx
Oooh, I love concerts. I wish I could have seen the Beatles. I still have not seen U2 - would dearly love that. I'd also like to see Spock's Beard and Porcupine Tree. I'm interested in LA Guns with Marty Casey as their new singer. I'd love to see Dar Williams, TMBG, and the Barenaked Ladies. My faves to go see whenever I can are the Hooters and Def Leppard, for totally different reasons. Hmm. And Yes, and Rush. I used to always go see INXS. But I'll go see just about anyone. I love live shows. I've seen lots.
