kaylk in tx
but now the polish is off all of them except the big toes! so i'm an OTHER :D
Teddi
No, the fur on my feet needs trimming first. :D
abbeyej
I picked "other" 'cause there's still some polish from when I did them... oh... four months ago? Maybe only three. Sigh. I've been meaning to deal with that, lol...
Nestof3
Yes, I love toenail polish (perhaps because from exercise my toenails are hideous!). It's a pinkish-red. Clear polish only EVER on my fingernails.
Chelle in MO
Mine have been since last Friday when I used a salon gift card that my 13 yo son gave me for my birthday! Nice treat for me--twice per year, maybe! Chelle
Kris
As a matter of fact, I have very special toes right now. They're dark frosty green and lookin' pretty cool, too. :D
Guest
I wouldn't be caught dead w/o polish on my toes. A purty red right now.
Kathleen in VA
No, the fur on my feet needs trimming first. :D Ha!:lol: You need to take this quiz: http://www.matthewbarr.co.uk/lotr/index.htm
GSMP
I clicked other also....I have weird toes. I did have polish on them and my sister was helping me take it off. She cracked a joke at my last two toes. They barely have enough of a toe nail to paint. She asked me why I bothered and said if I should paint more of the toe to at least make it look like I had a nail.....:001_huh: :lol:
Kay in Cal
Me too... remnants of six week old polish are still holding on. Next time I'm going to polish them clear or French... the pink looked cute but it's too easy to see when it wears off.
Mamagistra
Other, because my toes are usually polished, but I just removed a pinkish brown, meaning to apply something new; I ran out of time and/or oomph. I think I'll do a shade of wine or maybe an autumn-y dark orange color next. D'ya suppose that will make the air turn crisp and cool sooner? :001_smile:
fivetails
Nope - there's not much point to it because my toes are rarely ever seen by anyone....I only go barefoot when I *have* to do it (shower, pool)...My toes are bent funny and my toenails are damaged, so I don't show my ugly bare feet to anyone if I can avoid it. :tongue_smilie: (I decorate them with funky socks instead - all of my socks are wild colours or patterns or whatever - I'm currently wearing a pair of grey and purple ones with kitty cat faces on them....yesterday's socks were neon polka dots. :D )
TN Mama
Other, because my toes are usually polished, but I just removed a pinkish brown, meaning to apply something new; I ran out of time and/or oomph. I think I'll do a shade of wine or maybe an autumn-y dark orange color next. D'ya suppose that will make the air turn crisp and cool sooner? :001_smile: Let me know if that works & I'll make my appointment for a good fall color as well. I'm tired of 90 degree weather. Of course, I'll be wishing for it again come January. Right now I have a pretty pinkish-redish color. Dutch Tulip, I believe.

momofkhm
Besides that. Even though I hate my feet, dh thinks they look nice and he likes the toes polished so I do. My view is that polished toes should be seen so it either needs to be bright or dark. (I'm light skinned.) Last week I had this stuff on that could barely be seen so I took it off with the last drops of remover that my daughters left me. Almost not enough! Now it's a nice dark red. LisaKinVA
Well, I clicked "yes" because ther is polish on my toes... you didn't ask how much:D. In desperate need of a pedi... but baby belly is sort of getting in the way of my doing it myself, and $$$ are a little tight this month. GailV
She asked me why I bothered and said if I should paint more of the toe to at least make it look like I had a nail..... My SIL actually does that. She lost her big toenails years ago (something to do with a fungus) so she just paints her toes in a toenail shape. It's really ... different. H.S. Burrow
I voted yes because I *do* have polish on my toe nails but probably should have voted Other. I really need to remove it and start over. I painted them in May and just re-paint the same color to "fill in" where it's rubbed off :blushing:

Kim in Appalachia
every two weeks. I've been trying to pay more attention to my appearance. In the past I didn't really care. But having a teenage girl and a "tween" girl has made me more conscious of many things. :001_smile: That and my toes often look a bit blue, even in the heat of summer. magistramom
We live barefoot none months of the year here. IMO, it's mandatory. Also mandatory, one of those metal grater things in your shower to get off those rough patches. Now, if I could... I'd love to have some of those Japanese flesh eating fish for the pool... Pam "SFSOM" in TN
Are you toe nails polished? Other. Half my toenails (the top half) are polished. This from them growing out, getting clipped hurriedly, and being assiduously ignored for lo these many months except for trimming. Pathetic. ETA: Ok, I see I'm not alone. :-)

Happy
I love summer toes. Here is my favorite look. Takes some time, but it is bright, happy, and fun. PinkInTheBlue
I hate pedicures but I do go every 10 days or so for a polish change and get the french manicure on my toes. It goes with everything and looks pretty and simple. :) It's my "every 10 day $7 splurge". LOL

Heather in the Kootenays
It was in memory of my aunt who died just after Christmas. Her daughter and I went out and used the spa gift certificates she'd received at Christmas in her honour. The only problem was that I had karate the next day. The look on my sensei's face was enough to convince me to never colour my nails again. :)

She asked me why I bothered and said if I should paint more of the toe to at least make it look like I had a nail.....:001_huh::lol::lol: I,too, have weird toes. Because I missed almost the entire third trimester, I was born with no eyelashes (I have the tiniest, shortest lashes but am allergic to mascara, sigh), weak fingernails, and non-existent toe nails. I have NEVER EVER been able to have nice toenails- hardly any to paint, and I have always been self-conscious of them, so I have never had them painted in my life. THe only time I have ever had fingernails worth painting was when I was preggers with my first kid- it was nice while it lasted.

Rosie_0801
No way! I had my big toes operated on a few years ago due to really nasty ingrowing nails. The surgeon did the worst job my nurse aunties had ever seen. There's no way I'm going to do anything that will draw attention! :) Rosie
Julie in CA
I was & still am amazed that there were one or two people who mentioned that they were repulsed by polished toenails! I can't remember who it was though...
Amy in Orlando
I'm so pathetic. I painted my toenails about two months ago for our beach vacation. I've let it slide since. Until your poll, I hadn't really noticed. The big toe on my right foot is polished. The rest of my toes, not. I need to correct this one way or another.
