  1. No, the fur on my feet needs trimming first. :D
  2. Love it--the song and your siggy quote. "A kitten dies every time you use an apostrophe to pluralize"??:lol:
  3. After a bit of "research," I see nakitty is correct. I want to change my vote to "Dancing Queen" and ask, good grief, how did you take the news of "who" he was leaving you for??!!
  4. I'm guessing she did "mean well." I choose to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to comments such as this.
  5. Unbelievable! What is wrong with this woman? And how in the world did she raise someone you'd want to be married to?
  6. Teaching and Learning Company
  7. I am not QF, but I am sympathetic to and respectful of the lifestyle because I have several dear friends who are QF. My QF friends are not as materialistic as most middle-class Americans. They do not believe that every child is entitled to his/her own bedroom, television, Ipod, Wii, a bulging closet of clothes/shoes in the latest fashions, etc. as well as dance, music, and gymnastics lessons ad nauseam. Thus, they find that the Lord does indeed provide, just not in the manner that many Americans expect/demand.
  8. Why would this even be an issue? It seems a petty comment to me.
  9. Here's a free resource. Fill in your information and you'll receive via e-mail lots of links to information/quizzes, etc. on all 50 states over the course of 25 weeks
  10. The problem is that one size does not fit all. It would take two of those little "pop-can" sized cars to haul around families with more than four members. Many Americans really do need larger vehicles because they better fit our families/lifestyles.
  11. LOVED your example!!! LOL!! This is exactly why we will wait to take our Lit. classes until we get to the Christian college of our choice.
  12. Susan, Mine showed up today and I'm soooooooo pleased!! Cynthia, A new pair of shoes still comes in a close second. LOL!
  13. :iagree: And what of those with larger (by number or body size) families? We tried to do the two-week vacation thing in a mini van and it was miserable. I'm with you here, too. I don't understand why limiting consumer choice/freedom is such a popular answer to our energy problems.
  14. The Glencoe guide was very helpful for The Red Badge of Courage, soooooo NOT a favorite read around here.
  15. I'm going to be altruistic and not let you kill this one...:D
  16. Dogs sniff, lick, and eat things that should not be mentioned in polite company. I would, therefore, never let a dog lick my face. ~~ewwwwwwwwwwwww~~
