Audrey Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 First, thanks again for all the prayers for her. They are deeply appreciated. Jackie is in a regular room now and can have family for visitors, but only a few in a day, as she can't handle too much right now. She is still in quite a lot of pain and is getting meds for that. Docs are saying the chances of keeping her eye are looking much better as the week has progressed. Her niece hasn't been to visit yet, as they are trying to be fair about taking turns to visit and not overwhelm Jackie. So, as we go in to the weekend, I hope you all might feel a little uplifted that there is some good news out there. When I read your first post about her, I thought to myself that anything like that involving the eye sounded pretty painful.
