I use the free version of dropbox. My husband is always turning our computer shop customers onto it, and when they sign up for an account and use mine as a referral, my space increases. I think you start with 500 MB free. I love it, it's so user friendly! He even set my phone up so that any pics that get taken with my phone go straight to my dropbox account so they're already right there on my computer for me. We use it for all kinds of document storage and sharing.

Truuust me honey, we're happier about this than you are. Bless your heart. -
I have nothing against shopping carts, but I'd have to draw the line at hoes in the house... (Sorry, couldn't resist) :leaving:

Update: my son found his birth family on Facebook
CountitallJoy replied to Rose in BC's topic in The Chat Board
I have absolutely no experience with adoption and I don't think I caught your original post about this, but *this* post just made me really sad for you and the situation in general. Call me paranoid, but there seems to me to be HUGE red flags all over the birth parents' behavior. I can't believe the agency would advise you to let him go?! (I mean, I believe you, I just think that advice is way off the mark!) "Bring food"? Seriously?? I think you are absolutely right in waiting until you can drive him - no WAY would I put my kid on a plane to go to strangers just because they gave birth to him. Sorry I have no good advice, I just really wanted to give you a virtual hug and send good wishes your way. -
Please help me find a video (cc--I think)
CountitallJoy replied to Chelle in MO's topic in The Chat Board
It's on Youtube, search "God Glasses". -
Honestly? There are TONS of things to do, but I wouldn't consider any of it inexpensive. Any of the theater tickets are going to run at or near $50 apiece and Ripley's Aquarium tickets are around $25 for adults, $15 for kids aged 3-11. Family Kingdom (amusement park) is $26 for unlimited rides, all ages, or around $1 per ticket with the rides requiring 2 or more tickets each. Paws is right, inexpensive and MB don't go together anymore at all.

Best Wii games for different ages?
CountitallJoy replied to Michelle My Bell's topic in General Education Discussion Board
My teenage girls love Just Dance, and it's quite a workout! We all love Super Mario, Wii Sports, and a new family favorite is Pictionary. I like Mortal Kombat, but it's tricky getting used to the nun chucks. I was SO thrilled to get Legend of Zelda, but I ended up returning it because I couldn't figure out how to work the nun chucks :( -

Woohoo for the "like button"

I agree! MUCH better for bandwidth than having to quote whole long posts just to say "I agree". (Of which I have been guilty, but I always felt bad doing it :p) -
Thanksgiving Day desserts
CountitallJoy replied to Night Elf's topic in General Education Discussion Board
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/brownie-caramel-cheesecake/Detail.aspx?prop31=1 I made this for my husband's birthday this year and it was A-MAzing! I added chopped walnuts on top of the caramel layer (and to the sides, but that didn't work so well when removing the springform pan.) I wanted to make it again for Thanksgiving, but my dd wants to make a pumpkin cheesecake and I'm sure gonna let her! The first link was broken, so I'm redoing it. Hopefully it works, but if not and you're interested, It's the Brownie Caramel Cheesecake from allrecipes.com -
A Thanksgiving WWYD

THIS is what I was hoping to hear! I have chronic pain and inflammation, and a 6 hour car trip requires nearly a day to recover. Back when I still had insurance and meds, I was able to do a lot more, but now without? And as the only driver? No way :( , especially with only a day between the travel days. I agree with the pp who suggested maybe going when you can stay longer. I realize the importance of family, but I also know what it's like to be in so much pain that you can't even enjoy the time together. -
