Mrs. Readsalot
Since we are having fun with all things Austen, I found this quiz and thought many boardies would like it. Sigh...yes girls I did get Mr. Darcy. http://www.quizilla.com/users/eriu3/quizzes/What%20Jane%20Austen%20gentleman%20is%20for%20you%3F
Valerie in Chicago
I got Col Brandon! Doesn't surprise me.... Thanks for a few minutes of fun!
Jill- OK
LOL...I told myself before I even took it; "I'm betting it turns out to be Mr. Knightley." And I was right. :-) I know you're supposed to love Mr. Darcy best, if you're a WTM lady...but Mr. Knightley reminds me too much of the leading man in my life. mommaduck
I was hoping for Mr. Knightly...I got Mr. Bingley instead.

percytruffle
I am supposed to be with Mr. Darcy, which makes since because on the other quiz I was Elizabeth Bennett!

SnowWhite
Mr. Knightley. Very appropriate as he's my leading man of fancy at the moment.
Sandra314
My results which I am most pleased with.. :001_smile: Mr. Knightley. Emma's George Knightley is kind and thoughtful, but not above telling you something was "badly done" when you get a bit above yourself. He started off just being a compassionate friend, but in time you'll realize you're in love with him
Donna
I got Mr. Knightly.
Lady Katherine
I'll take any of 'em... Mr. Darcy, Col. Brandon, Capt. Wentworth, Mr. Knightly.... I'm not particular! :001_wub:
Kay in Cal
Mr. Ferrars... I can see that. But I was secretly hoping for Mr. Darcy!
Storm Bay
Hooray! I got Mr. Darcy and I really kept it real this time. (but I like that guy before Colin Powell, the one that PBS ran around 1980/81). And for those who haven't done the romantic heroine one (not many did), here's the link--see if you match like I did! http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22507
Storm Bay
Is there a quiz for "What JA gentleman are you?" ;) No, but there ought to be. I thought of you men when I posted the Jane Austen Romantic Heroine link, but, alas, had no idea. I found that one via a blog I rarely visit. Storm Bay
Fooey - I got Bingley  Why don't people like Bingley? I admit, when I was 20, I liked only Mr. Darcy, but at this age, I like Bingley just as much (though not my type.)
kat19
Mr Bingley And then I took the What Jane Austen herion are you and got Jane Bennett :)

Michelle in MO
Mr. Darcy, although I'm a little mixed up, since I ended up being Elinor Dashwood in the other quiz! :)
Angela in TN
Mr. Knightley, I had forgotten about him but he is a wonderful character. I love these books! :)
jacqui in mo
Psst! I think you mean Colin FIRTH, not Powell. Colin Powell was Bush's Secretary of Defense & not bad looking, but I don't think he's starred in any PBS Austen movies. ;o)
Linda in NM
Hmmm....me and 9% got Captain Wentworth. Gotta love that nobility of character...
jacqui in mo
I don't need no stink'n quiz! Mr. Darcy, of course! Why, he has TEN THOUSAND A YEAR! (said in Mrs. Bennett voice). And after seeing his beautiful grounds at Pemberly, one truly knows you're in love. :o)
Guest Virginia Dawn
Edward Ferrar, even though I was hoping for Colonel Brandon. I knew I was giving the wrong answers for CB but I tried to be honest. :-)
Carmen_and_Company
Mr. Darcy. Pride and Prejudice's FitzWilliam Darcy is aloof, but he feels deeply. If he loves you, he's made up his mind for good, though you may not have noticed that that's how he feels. He is, of course, rather too convinced of his own worth and tends towards snobbery, but he has a good heart and will marry you despite what his relations might think. Take this quiz! Hmmm, he's actually not my first choice.
Laura Corin
I got Edward Ferrars instead. Laura

Colin Powell was Bush's Secretary of Defense & not bad looking, but I don't think he's starred in any PBS Austen movies. ;o) :o Yes, you're absolutely correct. As you can see, I'm really good with names--really good at mixing them up! It did look a bit funny, but I can't even remember the name of the actor I liked better because back then I didn't even pay attention to that. Oakblossoms
Mr. Ferrars. Sense and Sensibility's Edward Ferrars is soft spoken, but he is firm in his decisions and will always make good on his promises, even if he's changed his mind. His good nature might lead him into the wrong situations sometimes, but he's not as naive as you might think. And a perfect fit I might say! If my husband was anyone that would be him!
Alice
Edward Ferrars. And in the other quiz I was Elinor...so it fits.
