mom31257 Posted January 23, 2023 Share Posted January 23, 2023 Would you please pray for my younger sister? This is a very difficult time of year for her. Her husband committed suicide in December 8 years ago. Their only son, with special needs, died in February 6 years ago, and February is the anniversary of her son's birthday and our mother's death. She moved away to be near friends and try to make a new life for herself, but she is still very lonely and essentially not happy. I wish she lived closer to us, but she is where she felt like she was supposed to go. From 2014 to 2016, we lost those three on my side of the family (mom, BIL, nephew) and my husband's father and grandfather. We were close to them all. It seemed overwhelming at times. I found peace knowing we are meant to stay here but to move on with those who have gone before.
