TravelingChris
Yes, I use it on my main computer all the time. THat is what the kids use on theirs too. On the other hand, our old laptop (4 years old but still working) can only use IE. Boy do I hate to use that. I hate it so much that I got a DroidX which I use normally instead when I am out. Veritaserum
Firefox is thee main browser we use on our PCs. Sometimes we use google chrome. On our Macs and iPhones/iPad we use Safari. We never use Internet Explorer.
HRAAB
I've used firefox for a long time but recently it was causing problems. I have no idea what (completely computer illiterate) but my computer did not like it. :glare: I'm using Google Chrome now with no problems. edithcrawley
Yes! I absolutely love it and never even touch IE now.
Rhonda in TX
I've used Firefox for years. DH uses both Firefox and Safari. I have no idea why. Occasionally I do find a Firefox problem and use Safari. When Weight Watchers went to their new program a couple of weeks ago, the online program did not work on Firefox. I used Safari until they got that worked out.
MeaganS
Firefox is my absolute favorite, followed by Chrome, with a distant third for IE. I hate IE and love Firefox.
Old Dominion Heather
Love it. Dh has switched over to chrome and likes that better.
Tess in the Burbs
I love Firefox and have used it for years. Dh uses Safari more but I prefer Firefox.
Jen in PA
DH really likes it, and I use it for the handful of things that don't function properly in Opera (my preferred browser). I certainly like it better than IE!
hsmom
I've used firefox for a long time but recently it was causing problems. I have no idea what (completely computer illiterate) but my computer did not like it. :glare: I'm using Google Chrome now with no problems. This is me also. I love firefox, but recently it seemed to bog down really bad and my computer was way slow while using it. Then I started using Google Chrome with no problems. Now I don't like the no way to add more toolbars to google chorme, but it works fast for me now.

Parrothead
I've not had any problem with Firefox being slow. I prefer Firefox to all others.
Sputterduck
I have firefox on my desktop and chrome on my laptop. I like them both. I cringe if I ever have to use ie.
Nestof3
Thank you! I've been having some hanging issues, and I was wondering if it was IE.
NanceXToo
Yes. I am not big on change and it took me forever to decide to change from Internet Explorer to Firefox, and once I did change, it took me a few days to get used to it, but now I'm really glad I did; I get way fewer error messages and problems than I did with IE! We've used Firefox for years, but it's giving our new computer fits (Windows 7). I'm glad this thread came up. I might install Chrome and see if it works better. Lizzie in Ma
Big fan. Love Mozillas email program Thunderbird too. Safe, fast, everything you can want in a browser. IE is horrific, haven't used it in years and urge everyone not to.

nukeswife
I love Google Chrome, but have to have Firefox as well because my bank has deposit at home where I can scan checks instead of sending them in (We're military and I don't have a local bank) which doesn't work with Chrome. I haven't checked in a while but last time I did Paypal Multi-order shipping didn't work in Chrome either. For those two items firefox works, but I prefer Chrome and wish it would work for those instances.

Soror
IE has never been allowed at my house either. I use Firefox dh has recently changed to Chrome. I am well pleased with Firefox though and have no desire to switch.
Shawna in Texas
My favorite browser on Windows: Chrome (hands down). The thing about browsers, particularly Firefox (which was a favorite for 5 or more years in the last 10), is you can infinitely customize them. I love that. Aesthetically, I love Chrome, and I love that omnibar. DH's favorite browser on Windows is Safari.
Nestof3
Okay, I ended up downloading Google Chrome. It is super fast. I miss my "home" button on IE which would bring up all of my main bookmarked home pages at once. Does Google Chrome have such a home button? When you click on a new tab, all the pages you frequent the most are all in block form. It usually takes a few days to establish. BUT. I have this. I think this is closer to what you want. *Inna*
Yes, I've been using it for a few years. It's great and the Ad blocker is a must. Tried the Google Chrome a few weeks ago - just doesn't feel right and it kept locking up.
amyco
Yep, I use and like Firefox for my iMac. Mostly b/c I'm familiar with it...dh uses Safari and prefers that. Nowadays pretty much every website we visit works fine with both.
jenn&charles
I like Firefox a lot, but I switched to Chrome and like it even better. It's faster/cleaner and I have most of the same extensions (add-ons) that I did for Firefox like adblocker.
Renee in NC
We don't use Firefox because we were having virus problems, despite antivirus programs and antimalware. (Not just us, either, but my mother and her computer clients, too. On Windows 7, I use IE 8 and dh uses Chrome - it just works to keep our cookies separate.
