PrincessMommy
https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-54761824 RIP. 😞  I was never a big Bond fan, but I did enjoy many of his other movies.  1

alisoncooks
I had the biggest crush on him when I was a teen (and he was 60). I believe I'll watch Darby O'Gill & the Little People today in memory. 4

itsheresomewhere
I loved most of the movies he was in. He had a such a great voice.
wintermom
I was a big Bond fan (probably his fault!😆), and also a big fan of his other work. He will be missed, and we're fortunate to still be able to watch his films.
Ellie
I wasn't a big Bond fan, either. I liked his other work; one of my favorites was Marnie, with Tippi Hedren. But he was an actor I grew up with, KWIM? My mother would be crushed. 😞 But he was 90yo. He lived a long life. RIP.

I had a huge crush on his voice. I've tried to convince my dh to take voice lessons so he could learn to talk like Sean Connery. My dh said no. 😞
Lady Florida.
I was never a Sean Connery fan, Bond or any other roles, but he was an icon, This is sad.
Granny_Weatherwax
I was a Bond fan. 007 was my first introduction to Sean Connery (and Roger Moore). I was happy when he was knighted for his contributions. . Edited October 31, 2020 by The Accidental Coach

livetoread
Him defending the need to slap women ruined him for me. I guess at age 76 he finally acknowledged it wasn’t okay. Guess that’s better than never acknowledging it, but come on.

Amethyst
I was not a fan. Just never really watched anything with him. Except The Molly Maguires. Loved that movie. And of course I felt like it was a good educational movie for my kids too. It doubled as US history and PA history! Filmed only an hour from where we live so we took the kids to the tiny coal mining town where it was filmed and is now a tourist attraction. Highly recommend the movie.
annandatje
Good riddance. I am old enough to remember his interview with Barbara Walters regarding treatment of women and children. I have watched films starring actors I do not care for as long as they do reasonably good job. However, I've never been a fan of spy flicks and saw only one of the Bond movies on a date.
