Luanne
I mean besides keys of course. My daughter bought me a new key ring. It has a yellow submarine (the Beatles). I love it!
magnificent_baby
Van remote fob and a mini tape measure that belonged to my Grandma. It's kind of a cheesy item to carry around, but it reminds me of her. :001_smile:
DarlaS
The remote fob thing, a pirate girl playmobil figure keychain, a Rite Aid Wellness card, Kroger Plus card, library card, and a Nikon microfiber lens cleaning cloth.
Hypatia.
Other than the usual keys and van remote, a Leatherman Squirt and a Photon micro-light. I don't need the flashlight too often but I'm very glad to have it those few times, the Leatherman came in much handier than I thought it would. (Tweezers for splinters when we're at the park, little scissors, and occasionally it's the only small screwdriver we can find in the house.) Pippen
A Timex caribiner watch and a Lego Stormtrooper keychain that needs to be replaced because he's missing his legs!
Miss Tick
Mine has the car stuff, library card, loyalty cards a robot-shaped headphone splitter to keep the peace at the library when more than one kid wants to hear the game on the computer, and a p38 can opener - which hasn't come in handy yet (probably 20 years) but YOU NEVER KNOW! It has a sharp edge which occasionally scratches me and sometimes snags my knitting. Okay. I'm going to go take that thing off there. SKL
Mine has about 5 keys and about 10 "cards." Rec center, Panera, library, zoo, grocery, drugstore, and who knows what else? I am a very exciting person, as you can see.
justamouse
A magic wand that I've had for YEARS. 18? I know most of my kids have gnawed on it.

Tap
My car key is carried by itself with just a hair tie twisted through the hole. I keep it in my pocket when I am shopping and I don't want bulk on it. My house key, cabin key, mil house key and mail key are all on one small figure 8 key ring that is tucked in to the bottom of my purse. No decoration, just a ring with 4 small keys. In the past year, I have only used this key to get me into the cabin 2x and to lock it back up when we leave. I use the garage pass code to get in our house. There is a mail key in the shoe cupboard that is easier to get to (locking mailbox in the neighborhood). I only have my mil's key for emergency and I have never used it in the 10 years I have had it. I wouldn't even carry it, but then Murphy's Law would bite me in the tush!
Freckles
My key ring is a leather and silver heart by Brighton. One of my college girlfriends gave it to me many years ago. I love it!
Supertechmom
Car key which is built into the car remote, house key, two grocery store tags, library card tag, and cvs tag and a toy story woody key chain and a toy story Jessie that is now just her head!! I get more comments about beheaded Jessie than anything I have ever had.
TechWife
My keyring has a piece of fabric on it so I can find it in my purse and a thumb drive. Oh, and keys. Don't forget the keys...
Julie Smith
The little tag that you can get from a charity with a number on it. Then if the keys get lost someone can put them in a mailbox and the charity returns them to you. Also a climbing hook like this, http://english.qx100.com/en_sj/2006-10/5/2006105124745662.jpg . Paula in PA
Besides the various keys, I have a Virgo medallion that's over 25 years old and, much newer, a miniature Doctor Who 11 sonic screwdriver. I almost got 10s as well, but decided that would bring on too much teasing from dh and dd.
Amber in SJ
I do not carry keys. I am incapable of keeping track of keys. I don't drive & Dh put a keypad on the door of the house. I am also incapable of keeping track of wedding rings, ID cards, purses, etc. I think there might be some kind of program for this this. Tita Gidge
I don't have a key ring, just a car key. I used to have that standard, simple single silver key ring but I kept twirling it fast around my finger and losing it whenever I was out. So my son finally took it off, and now it's just me and a key. This way it stays put in my pocket, and I don't have to call him to come pick me up with the spare. And then spend $300 to replace it. Again. And then again. Sigh.
BakersDozen
I love dice (not sure why) and found a brand new red die at a yard sale recently. It looks so cool (OK, I think it looks cool, lol).
lailasmum
One set has a metal fob that I have had for about 15 years, my library card and a couple of supermarket points cards. I did used to have a tiny torch but it swings and gets annoying when I drive. My other set has either a small piece of reindeer antler or a leather tag, I can't remember which right now, I switch them round a lot. Cinder
keys to 3 cars, key fob, house key, church key, 3 cards--Kroger, Publix, library. That's it. My keys are on rings like these so they can be easily separated. Dh and I have to share one of the car's key because there are only 2 keys and ds1 (being the main driver of that car) has the other. And we're not ready to pay $100 for a spare. Dh has a small wooden turtle on his key ring.

I find I don't like having them in my pocket, especially during the winter since I can end up leaving the keys in my jacket, vest, rain jacket... Then I have to go search pockets. So I just clip them to my pants. Always in sight yet can't get lost.
