It's a classic that's easy to spell and pronounce, but you don't have to worry about there being 3 other Margots in her scout troop. Exactly! It's lovely. It suits all ages and is Timeless. My concerns are silly--1)we aren't French and I feel a little like a poser and 2) also don't want dumb people to read it phonetically. But if you're concerned about pronounciation, maybe you could spell it Margo? Your other kids have wonderful names and Margo goes along nicely! I love the name Margot, but I'm guessing about half to three-quarters of the people who read it will mispronounce the name. I don't think you'll get people saying Margotte as it's a pretty well-known name, and it goes beautifully with the other names you mentioned.
