I think Cars. Of course I've got 4 boys... so we hear that one more often!

Right now Barbie "The Princess and the Pauper" is playing. It's definitely not my favorite one... it's like cheap Broadway. Oh what I'd pay for them to love Annie or something with quality music in it!

Well I love Beauty and the Beast too, the Broadway soundtrack is a favorite here. The Incredibles is really wonderful. My Neighbor Totoro is so sweet it's hard not to love. Iron Giant is another favorite. I guess I can't quite pick a true favorite. Oh and I have a soft spot for Fivel in An American Tail....

Does Nightmare Before Christmas count, even though it's technically stop-motion? It's my favorite movie of all time, period. If it has to be an actual cartoon, I'd have to say Beauty and the Beast.

Pretty much anything Pixar, including the "shorts" - the birds on the wire is great.

We also like TS2 - great story of friendship. Monsters Inc and Cars are good as well. We didn't like Wall-E as much but it was still cute and thought- provoking.

We love the Pixar shorts too. Pixar is great.

:iagree:I also like Shawn the Sheep and Miniscule on The Disney Channel.

Fav animated is Monsters Inc.

When Beauty and the Beast came out I loved it, but I think I like Toy Story 2 better. What is your favorite.

Beauty & the Beast, hands down! But I really love Aladdin and Toy Story (the first one) too.

Spirited Away and Iron Giant are my favorites. Iron Giant is my dh's all-time favorite, and he and my older dd are huge Miyazaki fans, so they' recommend Porco Rosso and Castle in the Sky as well. Also, dd likes Steamboy.

I love Spirit... that horse movie. It is pretty old, but I LOVE the music in it from Brian Adams and just love the story line. It makes me cry every time!

We got to see this while on vacation in Cody, WY....a day or so after seeing wild horses running in the distance! It was so cool to see this film just about exactly where it was set!

And it was a 1930's movie theater, no less! I love old movie theaters!

My Neighbor Totoro, closely followed by Spirited Away. Or maybe Kiki's Delivery Service would be second. Can you tell I love Miyazaki films?

I also love all the Wallace and Grommit films (especially the older ones).

The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie, and Finding Nemo probably my favorite Pixar one. Although I do want to see Wall-E again... hmmm....

Followed by Mulan and Tarzan.I watched Tarzan when I was pregnant with 2nd dd and cried through it all.I like the music in Mulan.

I'm a TOTAL Pixar fan! In this order:

Monsters, Inc.

Ratatouille

Toy Story (which we're watching right now)

The Incredibles

Finding Nemo

Wall-E

Cars

Bug's Life

Toy Story 2

I also love the Pixar shorts - especially For the Birds.

Fantasia, anything Aardman, and Ratatouille. :001_smile:

If you like these, look for Allegro Non Troppo, an Italian response or challenge to Fantasia.

I also like many from the Canadian film board, like The Sweater. They have a free site up for 50 of their best hits...if you look under movies, you'll find The Sweater.

Does Wallace and Grommet count as animated? We LOVE the short films. The movie was ok, but not as funny.

Beyond that, A Bug's Life, Beauty and the Beast and A Toy Story come to mind.

Yes - Wallace and Grommet and Prince and Pauper and my all-time favorites are still the Winnie-the-Pooh. Well, what can I say?

And that's an understatement. I'm not sorry for having seen it though... excellent film.
