Homeschooling the Real Child mp3 is up!

Recommended Posts

I just ordered it, but was having trouble with it showing up in my downloads, hopefully it just needs a little time.

I'm having a patience issue while waiting for it.

Oh no...you used Paypal didn't you? I did that the first time. On a Friday evening. Bad idea. They have to manually approve each paypal transaction. I would cancel it and reorder with a credit card. You get it immediately that way. ;)

Thank you, this week most of all I need something to make me laugh!

Ditto...def. buying this one tonight. I have a feeling my youngest is gonna be one of those "real" children..unlike my oldest who will cry when she can't do schoolwork because she's sick :001_huh:.

Was anyone there who knows what the first question was when ppl clapped?

If it was recorded in Memphis, then it was a lady telling her that she has been homeschooling for many years and has gone to many conferences, but this was the best lecture she has ever heard.

Updating, Yes I did use Paypal, but Kim from PHP sent me a nice email after I sent them an email about it, telling me about the manual approval. It was available by the time I got home from Gymnastics though so it wasn't too bad.

Now I just have to find time to listen to it.

So I downloaded a bunch. Which order should I listen to them? I have:

The Joy of Classical Homeschooling

Writing Without Fear

A Focus on Teaching Writing: Elementary

A Focus on Teaching Writing: Middle Grades

Homeschooling the Real Child

Teaching Students to Work Independently

What is Literary Analysis

I also have two lectures from Andrew Pudewa:

Reaching the Reluctant Writer

What Are We Really Doing Here?

I have all of these. I don't know if there is any real order needed. I have them all on my MP3 and usually listen to them when I am physically busy or cannot sleep. I fell asleep halfway through SWB's new talk last night so I am looking forward to hearing the rest tonight.

I woke up this morning telling myself "They're little humans, they're little humans". We had a good day.

"Teaching your child to work independently" has been one of my favs out of all her lectures.

I have all of the SWB ones and I think they're fine in any order. But since you are asking, I would suggest:

The Joy of Classical Homeschooling

Writing Without Fear

A Focus: Elementary

A Focus: Middle School

What is Literary Analysis

Teaching Students to be Independent

Homeschooling the Real Child

OK, that was the BEST lecture I've heard her do!!!! (OK, I say that after every time I listen to one. But they are all so *different* and *refreshing* compared to books that are apparently still somewhat ingrained in my head about how schooling should go, how kids should behave, yada yada yada)

The best!! Thank you, SWB, once again!
