lllll
http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Walnut-Fudge-Pie This is my 26yos's favorite pie (w/o the fudge sauce - he puts soy ice cream on top of it). He adds 1 tsp. of instant coffee and 1 tsp. of Kahlua and 1 tsp. of rum to it. (get mini bottles from ABC store) I don't like pie.

lllll
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/White-Chocolate-Cream-Pie/Detail.aspx Our neighbors love this pie. I use Green & Black's white chocolate bars for the filling. I also make my own whipped cream (VERY easy) which improves the flavor greatly. And instead of trying to melt white choc. and pour it (nearly impossible), I use a potato peeler to grate a bar of Lindt's white chocolate with coconut in it. Then, gently shake it from the plate over the pie. Store in freezer until short time before serving. Thaw in frig. for a couple of hours. I also make my own crust, but that's another post. And I have used chocolate wafers to make a chocolate crust, too. But the neighbors seem to prefer the lard and butter crust. Yuk. But they love it. Wendi
If the apple pie is room temperature, and there's no ice cream, it's not nearly as good. In that case, I'd love a chocolate cream pie, or peanut butter pie. Wendi

dragons in the flower bed
Another vote for french silk pie. Banana cream is pretty good too. I don't like fruit pies. Too tart. Isn't cheesecake technically a pie?
stripe
If the apple pie is room temperature, and there's no ice cream, it's not nearly as good. In that case, I'd love a chocolate cream pie, or peanut butter pie. Time to watch "When Harry Met Sally" ! I love apple, fresh berry pies, chocolate silk kind of things, and many others. Pumpkin is okay but usually too bland. But I hate everything about mincemeat, and I'm not much for meringue.

Tap
Pie, did you say PIE. MMMMMMMmmmmmmm, I like pie. :D Coconut Cream Chocolate (fluffy whipped chocolate with fresh whipped cream) Lemon if it is a good one and not made from a Jello box. Pecan if it isn't too sweet-some are like eating Karo-syrup without flavor. Apple if it isn't too sweet--I also prefer plain apple no chocolate or Carmel. Raspberry Blueberry Pumpkin-I will eat but not a fave.

imeverywoman
Black-bottomed Pecan Pie. It has a layer of ganache, cheesecake and pecans. It is so good that any pieces that are left, get thrown away, because I WILL EAT THE ENTIRE PIE MYSELF!!!!
LauraGB
I'm not sure they make a pie that I won't eat and say "Wow!" Good gracious - my mom cooks Jello pudding and pours it into a frozen pie shell (she's a real chef, I tell you) and I gobble it like its a gift from the Big Guy himself. Okay, if you really want to know, it's like this: Apple (no sugar, just maple syrup) Pumpkin (again, no sugar, just maple syrup) And then all the rest. elise1mds
Lemon meringue and strawberry rhubarb are my favorites. I have pie duty, too. I'm making apple and apricot cranberry. My in-laws don't eat pecan or pumpkin pies since they didn't grow up with them and find them totally odd, and since that's who we're sharing Thanksgiving with, I'm catering to their tastes. It helps that they love my pies. :)
