It’s getting dry and cool…what is your favorite lotion for dry skin?

The new magnesium lotion I recommended here. I ordered myself some because the price was so good. It’s a really good lotion for dry hands! Life-flo magnesium lotion.

CeraVe in the big tub. I use it on my face year round, and other parts in the summer. In the winter I use Curel Itch Defense for body lotion, and if my face gets really dry I use Aquaphor or CeraVe healing ointment. I also use those two on my hands and lips. I keep tubes of them all around the house and in the car.

CeraVe in the tub is my favorite winter hand/body cream.

Whole Foods oatmeal body soap is perfectly moisturizing without being too much so for my winter skin.

I've recently decided to up my game on my face routine, and have switched to a gentle cream cleaner (Omega+complex cleansing balm) and Resist Triple Active Total Repair serum (both Paula's Choice) morning and night, followed by Oil of Olay Regenerist cream at night and Elf primer for day. So far, my skin feels really soft, nourished and moisturized.

Another CeraVe in the tub fan! I use it all summer and winter on my face and body. As a special night-time cream for my hands, I use this Kiehl’s hand salve. It’s very moisturizing and I like the barely-there, light scent. It reminds me of a spa.

It’s a little old school, but my face loves the ponds. I keep Cetaphyl or cera ve on hand for my body. They’re interchangeable to me. My challenge isn’t finding a good lotion, it’s bothering to apply before I get too dry.

CeraVe in the tub. Vernon too.  But if you want to get serious, get something without alcohol n it.  Dermatologist told me fewest ingredients and no alvohol ingredients is best option for those with allergies or eczema.  By the way $$$. 😐

I used to love O’Keeffe’s, but I’ve developed an intolerance to urea. I recently bought Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula 48 hr moisture and it works really well. I use a good amount on my hands and wear cotton gloves overnight. For a general non-greasy body lotion I like Jason Sensitive Skin body lotion. Cutemol is good for really dry skin - it’s thick so a little goes a long way. For feet I love Ancient Greek Remedy Organic Foot Balm. It comes with a pumice stone, too.
