DB in NJ
Joseph Michael Anthony. I was living in Iowa at the time, and I remember coming to the WTM boards asking for prayer after the doctor told me that there was no heartbeat. I printed out the messages of encouragement and support; I still have them in my "treasure drawer." Ten years ago today, the bleeding started. I had been on bedrest, trying to prevent the unpreventable. I remember crying in the shower, getting dressed, and going to the Valentine's Banquet at church. There was nothing more that could be done to save my little one. Ten years ago... While I'm sure that any of you who were here then have forgotten about it, I have not forgotten the love and support and encouragement I received from you. You helped me through the most difficult, painful time of my adult life, which made it also one of the most precious times of my adult life. Thank you. Mrs. Readsalot
I have been thinking about you all morning. Sometimes when things like that happen it seems as though time stands still. You can vividly remember everything about the day. I am sure today must be very difficult for you. One of my sons best friends would have been 13 today. When he was 8 he fell through ice on a pond and died. His mom is a close friend and fellow homeschooler. We always make sure she knows that we remember and think about her precious son on this day. My thoughts and prayers will be with you throughout the day.

Tracey in TX
(((Hugs))) Sorry for the loss of precious boy. It's the worst thing any mother could endure. Hopefully you had a solid group of friends and family with whom to help you in the grieving process, and celebrate your love for the unborn child. Little Soccer Dude's middle name is Noah, for a darling boy who lived a mere 2wks. Each person deserves a legacy, and this is what we could do for him. DB in NJ
WOW! Once again, I can count on the people on this board when I need them the most. I am touched beyond words at the kindness here. I left to spend the day with my Great Aunt, whom I see maybe once or twice a year. She called this morning to see if we wanted to go spend the day with her; spur of the moment kinda thing. We had a wonderful day together, and to come home to all of these comforting posts is just.....well, I'm in tears. Bless you all!!! I love you dearly.
