Night Elf
Anyone seen this: ApocaLuck? It's a website that shows if you'll survive the Apocalypse according to your geographical location. Apparently, my city has a rating of 4/10. No chance of shockwave or heat blast, but we'll get fallout. :) Their FAQ is pretty funny.
stephanier.1765
We're 7 out of 10.
Annie G
We're 4 out of ten, with no shockwave or heat blast, but enough fallout that there's a 60-90% death rate every month. My sister lives 850 miles from here and her town is also a 4 out of 10, with no shockwave or heat blast but fallout is listed as glowing, like at our house. But the chances of death are almost zero. What the heck??? She lives outside of Atlanta and is fine but I'm a couple of hours west of Chicago and I'm going to die? Not fair. She better stockpile some food because in an emergency, I'm going to her place!
Guest
I'm completely untouched--1 out of 10. Can I have your stuff?
Annie G
I'm completely untouched--1 out of 10. Can I have your stuff? Sure, you can have my radioactive stuff! Better not reveal where you live or we might just all come live with you.
KRG
2/
Twigs
I'm completely untouched--1 out of 10. Can I have your stuff? Sure, follow the smoke. My stuff will be easy to find - it will be glowing! (My city is 8/10)
Truscifi
4/10, also glowing from the fallout. I live on the other end of the county from a nuclear power plant, but surprisingly only have a "low incidence of death" from radioactivity. JoJosMom
Well, poop. I'm going to survive the initial blast, but will die a slow and horrible death from radiation poisoning. So, to heck with it. Port and Chocolate for dinner tonight!
BigMamaBird
We're in a tiny village but apparently we're too close to nearby city because we're 6/10. Biggest problem is a heat blast. I'll make sure I have enough fixings for s'mores!
Lady Marmalade
Woo! 1 out of 10- untouched. Kind of surprising because I'm not that far from a nuclear plant, but I guess it's not a big one.
Halftime Hope
Well, I have $23 of smores makings sitting on my counter, and I'm suppose to only look at it until *next* Saturday, at which time ds will take it to a weekend campout. I say BRING IT ON, and you all can come to my house--the one that's glowing--for smores. (I have dibs on the one dark choc bar, though.) Farrar
10 out of 10! This is good. Dh told me if the sh** gets real, he wants to go fast. I guess we will. Enjoy your dystopia, everyone!
jewellsmommy
8/10 We are a big military area so I guess that makes us prime targets....Hampton Roads, VA. At least we"ll die quickly?
Farrar
Wait, I was just looking at it a little more... is anyone else a 10 out of 10 or just us?
Mrs Mungo
8/10 and pretty much 100% fatality rate.
Sara in AZ
I thought AZ might stand a good chance, but nope 8/10 here.
Joyofsixreboot
We're glowing.
Heather in Neverland
My hometown is only a 4 out of 10... Which is weird because I thought a nuclear blast ALREADY hit the Detroit area? Certainly seems that way. ;)
horsellian
Well I'm in the wrong country to get a rating. But I've now got Tom Lehrer's "We Will All Go Together When We Go" stuck in my head!
Carrie12345
Weird. I don't live in an official town, so I used my zip code (which is in a town 5-10 miles west) and got 4/10. Then I tried the zip code of a town 5-10 miles SE and got 7/10. I suppose I should split the difference, lol.
DawnM
8/10 here.
DawnM
Savo, South Dakota is 2/10......maybe we all need to move.
celticmom
4/10 here. I was surprised that it was that low since ports and shipyards are close by.
Clear Creek
I live in the boonies, so when I entered my town name or zip code I got 4/10. When I entered my county, though, I got 8/10 since it includes the area around a military base. So I guess I take the average of the two, lol?
