Denisemomof4
in ONE WORD can you name what the item/issue was in the original post that spiraled downhill quick? This is NOT to stir the pot, etc., but sometimes when read about some of the below, it really makes me laugh! I mean honestly, THAT could cause controversy: Here are the ones I remember: crockpot grocery cart (well, let's consider this a compound word) shoes crustables (from what I was told) and the obvious: religion politics insurance I'm looking more for the FUNNY ones like crockpot, grocery cart, shoes. fivetails
I saw a reference the other day to a thread that went kablooey over little boys sitting down to pee ~ never saw that one myself, but I though (when I saw the reference) "who the heck cares how someone else pees??" :tongue_smilie:

It was quite fascinating. But from what I read, it really didn't get heated. It sounded pretty good natured, though high spirited.
GWOB
My personal favorite was the annual "I can't believe mom's wear bikinis" thread. Lovely. And I personally love the "Obama is to blame for everything wrong in this world, including the Asian tsunamis" threads.

Tree House Academy
I am pretty sure that once a post gets started, you can just about always expect one of the three bottom issues (okay, maybe not "insurance" LOL) to eventually come around in ANY controversial post that goes on long enough. For instance, paypal thread...bad Christians - Religion. Cleavege - turning mens eyes from God - Religion. Singing songs about Obama - political. Your shoes though...that one took the cake girl!
