MomsintheGarden
Nooooooo! I really enjoyed that BMW commercial with him and Zachary Quinto, the "new" Spock. He was enjoying his life. So sad, but he had a great run!

Dh and I attended a play about Van Gogh's life that he wrote. I wish I'd seen him perform it, but it was good never the less. My favorite quote from just about any movie was from Spock. 'I have been, and always shall be, your friend.

choc0holic
When I taught public school (about 15 years ago), I used a Star Trek theme in my classroom. 'To boldly go where no class has gone before' was on a banner above the board. Each day when my students left, I stood by the door and gave each of them a 'Spock High Five' and I'd say "Live long and prosper." I credit my dad for my being a Trekkie. :)
