Joanne
Post concussion syndrome and possible PTSD. I am not sure what to say about that.

Jean in Newcastle
I think that both diagnoses sound reasonable considering what you've gone through. :grouphug:

nd293
A friend was diagnosed with PTSD after a routine medical procedure led to a medical crisis. I know that having a diagnosis was very helpful to her in putting how she was feeling into perspective. Medication and therapy helped further. I hope you heal fully soon. Starr
I have two friends who are living through post concussion syndrome. :grouphug: One found more help than the other. In both cases they were encouraged to let the brain heal and not push through. Apparently it's not like going to the gym. The brain heals with rest. Chris in VA
TID is really good for PTSD, if you want to explore that. Hope you can do the resting that will allow your brain to heal. So sorry it continues to be a challenging time for you.

trulycrabby
I'm sorry. :( DS19 has post- concussive syndrome which he has successfully managed with medication and a good neurologist. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions about PCS.
G5052
I'm sorry to hear that. The road grows ever long, doesn't it. I'm sure that you know this, but PTSD is a possibility with any major accident or significant medical event. It isn't just an issue for law enforcement and military folks. elegantlion
well, ((Joanne)), that's just crappy. I have no doubt you have the courageous tenacity to plow through all of this at the proper time, but please allow yourself time to heal (and grieve). There are lots of cliche quotes I could post, yet I'd rather bring you some lunch and give you a hug.
