Catherine
We've watched a few on Hulu and gotten a few from Netflix. I love those corny old shows like Beverly Hillbillies, Star Trek, and Get Smart. I think they beat current TV shows with a stick, though I barely even know what's out there. mindygz
We are steadily making our way through all of the Little House. The kids love them (especially DD8) and I actually learn a fair amount about good parenting from Ma & Pa Ingalls. :D We also watch old cartoons (the classic Disney ones, Scooby Doo, etc). mrsrevmeg
My kids get disappointed if they are not done with school by 2:00 every day to watch I Dream of Jeannie. We also like the Cosby Show and Green Acres. They think "old-timey cartoons that Dad used to watch" are fun, too. (Voltron, ThunderCats, and GI Joe)

Thanks for the reminder, they used to watch some of the LHOP, but not recently. funschooler5
My kids are working through M*A*S*H and Three's Company right now (I know, inappropriate at times, but also hilarious. John Ritter was so funny.) We also love: I Love Lucy Leave it to Beaver The Dick Van Dyke Show Get Smart Mork & Mindy Laverne & Shirley (they love this show, and watching it again, I'm just amazed at the physical comedy involved. Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams must have been in great shape!)
Baseball mom
Laverne & Shirley (they love this show, and watching it again, I'm just amazed at the physical comedy involved. Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams must have been in great shape!) I borrowed a season of Laverne & Shirley from our library. My bunch laughed and laughed. It was funny cause they didn't really want to watch it when I put it in but then they liked it.
StephanieZ
yup. our kids have seen very, very few 1990s-2000s TV shows, but they know the Munsters, Gilligan's Island, Mork n Mindy, Little House, and a handful of other oldies. They're so innocent compared to today's fare.
creekland
Our whole family loves some of the old shows particularly The Beverly Hillbillies, Hogan's Heroes, Mash, Gilligan's Island, Colombo, The A Team (not as old, obviously), Early Edition (ditto), Star Trek, Andy Griffith, Hawaii Five O, and probably some others I'm not thinking of. There's very few new shows we like. Monk had been one. White Collar is our current favorite.

MBM
We don't have cable or Netflix, so my son sometimes watches old reruns: Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Adams Family, Cosby, etc. Last year we checked out Frasier from the library and watched the entire series as a family. It's not too old but still great for laughter therapy!

Aubrey
Yes! We've watched a few episodes of Bewitched & I Love Lucy w/ them. We plan to watch some Hogan's Heroes when we get to WWII. Dh & I were previewing some recently, & we were surprised how similar some of the humor is to Ocean's 11--a style of humor we both really love. mama2cntrykids
My older kids like the Cosby's. The funny thing is, when I was younger, I really didn't like it. I only watched it because it was something to do, lol. Now I can appreciate it more! They also are dying to watch Lavurn and Shirley. I have been hesitating though because I can't remember if it's inappropriate of not (I think there were s#xual innuendos??). Correct me if I'm wrong please...if the innuendos aren't so bad, I will let them see it. I used to love it!
brijen97
My daughter (6 almost 7) is currently loving Wonder Woman...the one from the 70s. She has also enjoyed the Cosby Show with us since my husband and I left her to go see Bill Cosby at the local theater. She had to know what he was all about....
