It's described on the UK cover as being 'as if Bridgerton and Fleabag had had a book baby'. I enjoyed it - it's set in the Regency period and certainly has a romantic element, but it also discussed things that went on at the time but that don't make their way into Jane Austen - same-sex relationships, sexual violence, etc. I thought it was well done; it reminded me a bit more of Frances Burney than Austen.
