sassenach
It’s a tie. I closed out our homeschool journey and launched my youngest into 8th grade. Both my 8th and 9th grader are doing fantastic this year. I’m back in college, taking a full load this semester and getting A’s. That feels great!
Amira
The student loans are paid off. It’s hard to choose one thing since this was a momentous year, but getting those stupid loans finished forever is wonderful. meganrussell
Teaching my now seven year old to read. He is now reading above grade level. He went from barely reading CVC words this spring to reading way above level.
Granny_Weatherwax
This one is difficult for me, too. I think I'll go with paying off my car and completing the 52 week savings challenge.

Jean in Newcastle
Not going to the ER even once this year. Yes, it's an accomplishment.
Jean in Newcastle
Like Jean, I also avoided hospital this year! I think for me it was sheer dumb luck, though, so can't really count it. I don't have control over my situation either. ;) But I'm still going to celebrate it.
sassenach
Not going to the ER even once this year. Yes, it's an accomplishment. Now that you mention it, I don’t think we have either! I can’t honestly remember a single year where that’s been the case. We joke about having a wing of the ER named after our family.

Junie
My biggest accomplishment was getting help to improve my health. I started taking a new medication for my RA. I started getting massages to help my chronic migraines. I told dh that I need one night off a month to do whatever I want ALONE -- i.e. taking myself out to dinner, going to a bookstore, getting a milkshake
Night Elf
In looking back over 2017, what was your biggest accomplishment? Well, it's still ongoing but it's getting easier. I had to learn to let go of my kids and let them be their own selves. This was harder than I thought it would be.

Mabelen
I am glad to see the back of 2017. The year brought several unexpected challenges to my family.
