I need Christmas brunch ideas

We are doing a Christmas brunch at my parent's house this year.  My mom is making cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, some sort of potato dish, and drinks.  My sister is bringing a ham.  My brother is bringing cookies and homemade candies (fudge, chocolate covered cherries, etc.)    I am not sure what to bring.  We have several family members with severe food allergies to peanuts, treenuts, and soy, so those have to be avoided.  We also avoid any pitted fruits like apricots, peach, plumbs, etc.

This is our traditional New Year's Morning breakfast, and so far everyone has loved it:

Read the reviews for advice though. We find it too dry for our taste, so I usually end up using 3-4 eggs and a bit more cheese and milk. And check the biscuits you buy for the allergens you need to worry about. I think Pillsbury would be OK, but you'd need to check for sure.

I also make these recipes when we're on our annual vacation in the Outer Banks with extended family. The donuts are requested annually, and the French toast was a new but loved recipe this past summer:

Personally, I'd lean toward an egg casserole type thing though, because the cinnamon buns would be sweet enough for me. Or the high-quality bagels with lox and cream cheese *yum*

Sweet and Sour Sausage!  One of my faves:

12 oz. mini sausages (heat and serve)

3/4 C. sugar

1/2 C. vinegar

1 T. cornstarch

1 T. water

Brown the sausage; add sugar and vinegar; stir and boil.  Reduce heat and simmer 5 min.  Combine cornstarch and water.  Mix well and add to skillet.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.  Keep warm while serving (sauce thickens upon cooling).

Orange Blossom Punch--refreshing and festive--

1 liter of ginger ale

1 liter of orange juice

1 pint of lemon sherbet

Mix liquids, pour over ice in a punch bowl, mix in sherbet, serve

Or cold spiced cider.  Make hot spiced cider, using about twice as much spice as normal, and chill it and serve it over ice.  The spices (especially cloves) cut the cloying sweetness of the cider, and the cold makes it refreshing.

"Hello, there! I am Cider. I'm crisp and refreshing. Please, pour me and drink me!"

Mmmm... Or some nice hot mulled cider!

What about something like these?

I'd try to find a recipe without the "biscuit mix," personally, but someone in my family used to make something like this, and they were SO delicious. I should see if I can track that recipe down, actually.
