sheryl
That is beautiful! How and where did you learn that skill? Honestly, my dd wanted one last year for her b'day, but I didn't fork over the $50. Now I feel guilty. But, it would great to learn that talent so we could use that fork to pierce a homemade look alike! :001_smile:

amydavis
My dd6, who has a birthday in July, saw this and immediately decided I should make her one for her birthday! She loved it! Of course, I had to tell her that mommy is not such a talented cake baker/decorator. :tongue_smilie:My baking is usually limited to cupcakes! ;)

Denisemomof4
You did an *EXCELLENT* job!!!! Perfect!!! We have that same cake kit. I hated it when the boys used to lick the icing off the doll. They never thought twice about it but I did. :001_huh:
GWOB
Wow! Just wow! My cakes taste yummy. They just look like my 4-year-old decorated them. Luckily my kids think with their stomachs.

chickenpatty
LOL, one of my sons asked me if he could eat the top of her dress off. We gave poor barbie/sleeping beauty some respect & privacy however, & she was discretely (sp?) set aside to be washed & dressed in her proper clothes again. I actually didn't use a kit & because she was so tall, ended up making five layers of cake to fit her. (Just couldn't bring myself to cut off her legs!) herbalgirl
That is beautiful and looks very professional! It's a lot better than the "Barbie stuck in the middle of a Bundt cake" I made for my one daughter a couple years ago.
