Adoption Announcement!

Recommended Posts

I got home on Sat night with our two new kids--an 8 yo girl and a 6 yo boy from Ethiopia! They are terrific. Now we are eight--11 (dd), 10 (dd), 8 (ds), 8 (dd), 6 (ds), and 5 (ds).

Had a wonderful trip. The Ethiopian people are so kind, generous, and gentle! I always felt safe and had a great time with my sister (who accompanied me while my dh stayed home with the others).

Now I've got to figure out what to do with school! I think we will take a little time off, but then I'm getting the older three back on track with school-lite. Then we'll probably take the summer off.

Just wanted to share!

What wonderful news! :grouphug::party:

Our friends just adopted a 7month old boy from Ethiopia. The dh went on the trip and reported back similarly about Ethiopians--- what a kind, gentle, generous people.

Enjoy getting to know one another!

Heartiest Congratulations!

oooh!!!!! I'm so jealous (in a kind, loving, way, of course!) How wonderful, how beautiful, how blessed. My friend has 2 babies from Ethiopia and they are so beautiful.

Enjoy your settling in time together. God blessed our family through the miracle of adoption in 12/06...we added a son and daughter from Liberia, West Africa.

Life will be full and exciting in your house.....there's never a dull moment around here :)!!

Congratulations!!

Blessings,Kathi

So far, things are going very well. These are very sweet, loving kids. Sorry I don't have pics anywhere but I don't have a blog! Again, thanks. I will probably become just a lurker for some time due to being a little busy.
