Hillary in KS
My college roomie and friend for 20 years is having a baby. She's been walking around dialated to a 6 for the past 10 days, but shows no sign of labor. She and her dh have not picked out any names for their new son, and have rejected all the cool ones I've suggested. :glare: As a joke, I'd like to inundate them with really bad names. Can you help me? Their last name sounds like (but is NOT spelled like) Lye'- shnur. Thank you!

Doran
I once read a birth announcement for twins named Twierra and Twinerra. Went to school with a guy named "Iv" which was a nickname for being a So-and-so the Fourth (IV). There was also a Thold. This site should get them laughing (ETA: Warning -- some irreverent and off color humor therein). Edited October 15, 2008 by Doran

If you had the last name "Borden" and wanted to use the first name "Elizabeth" don't you think you'd at least refrain from using the nickname "Lizzie?" They thought was different enough because they used a "y" instead of an "ie" like the ax murderess. :001_huh: It gave me the creeps, and I called her "Bordie" (she was on my softball team, so a 'team nickname' was cool then.) astrid

Academy of Jedi Arts
First off you have to understand that my husband and I are far - trillions of light years- from being a racist. We just liked "Roots" a whole lot and are really goofy. Our last name starts with a K- I will use "Kerry" in place of my real last name because it has the same number of syllables and sounds sort of similar...anyway.... Until we found out we were having a girl and decided on a name, we called our unborn child Kunta "Kerry":tongue_smilie:

I just am literally tripping over them at gymnastics, the park, etc these days. We have cousins with those names, too, several sets, same names!
