When you're done with the diapers, they make amazing dust cloths - I haven't diapered a baby in nearly 20 years but I still use those diapers to dust. We swaddled him in receiving blankets in the beginning when he was tiny enough, then they became "in a pinch" burp cloths since my ds was the biggest spitter upper ever. :) Enjoy! I can't help you with newborn advice, mine were 4 months old(dd) and 8 months old (ds) when we brought them home 18 and 16 years ago. It's been longer for me since I've had a baby than it has been for you, but I remember loving the bouncy seat and a "rear view" mirror that attached to the back window of the car so I could see his face in my rear view mirror.
