MomOfOneFunOne
It seems so retro. I can remember when all my cousins and I used noxema and all our moms and aunties used oil of olay. What do you think of it?
Janie Grace
I use their moisturizer in the morning! I love it! It's simple and it works. No shame here. :D
Gooblink
I used Mary Kay from the time I was 17 until a few years ago...nearly 30 years! Recently I bought a jar of Noxema and was transported back in time - a flashback to watching my mom clean her face at the bathroom sink. I loved it so much I bought a jar of Ponds cold cream and moisturizer, too. I also have some Oil of Olay, but I've been using the more modern body washes and anti-aging lotions. Not sure it's helping, but I love the smell. :001_smile:
mommaduck
Noxema always made my face break out worse. My mom's Oil of Olay didn't. I've used many things, but have preferred OoO, MK, or Jafra if I was going with company brands.
Audrey
I like their Regenerist line. It's pricey, but good.
swimmermom3
I like their Regenerist line. It's pricey, but good. :iagree:I have used more expensive skin care lines but always end up back here with Regenerist or the sensitive skin products. 18 yo dd likes them too. Margo out of lurking
I use both their Regenerating Perfecting Cream, and the Daily Regenerating Serum. (I use the Walmart knockoff for the perfecting cream actually.) I've used the daily serum for years, and I used to use their purple cream. I think my skin makes me look younger than I am, and I give a lot of the credit to Olay and Bare Minerals.
parias1126
Oil of Olay for sensitive skin in the morning and Night of Olay at night. I always go back after trying expensive moisturizers that are not at all any better.
Garga
Oil of Olay is a cleanser? I thought it was just a moisturizer... I use Noxema to clean my skin instead of soap, and then use Oil of Olay to moisturize. Double retro-whammy!
BBG580
I have tried so many other lines over the years and I always seem to end up with OoO moisturizer. It is light, clean scent and never breaks me out. And it is affordable. Ponds cold cream seems old-school to me, not OoO!
katemary63
I used Oil of Olay moisturizer for sensitive skin for more then 20 years. Loved it! Just a few years ago, I became alergic to it. Yes, the sensitive skin one! So I've had to switch to Cetaphil. But I think OoO is great if you can use it! Everybody says I look much younger then I am and maybe I have OoO to thank! sparrow
I use Oil of Olay, as does my mom, as did my grandma. We've all received comments on our young looking skin.
Dolphin
Oil of olay makes me break out. I have gone really simple with Agera. They don't have a lot of the perfumes etc... It is not to spendy and my skin is great.
kalphs
It seems so retro. I can remember when all my cousins and I used noxema and all our moms and aunties used oil of olay. What do you think of it? I've used it for the past 33 years. I LOVE the facial wash and lotion for sensitive skin! :)
kewb
Another satisfied Oil of Old Ladies (Oops, I mean Olay) user. I have been using it for a few decades now. I still use the basic Olay complete moisturizer.

nd293
I use their moisturizer in the morning! I love it! It's simple and it works. No shame here. :D Same here. It is also a sunscreen, and suites me well. I honestly don't believe expensive means better, at least not at the upper limits of my price-range! m0mmaBuck
I use their Age Defying face wash day and night and their Age Defying moisturizer in the morning (over Bio-Oil).
rwjx2khsmj
I used the regular Oil of Olay until I turned 40, then I splurged for the Regenerist. Love it!
LadyBeth
To clean, I use Pond's in the winter and Noxema in the summer. Oil of Olay year 'round to moisturize. I used the sensitive skin without sunscreen and loved it, but I can't find it anymore. The sunscreen irritates my skin, but not enough to stop using it. Parrothead
I've got OoO in the bathroom as a moisturizer. I've only been using it a few years. I've got some really good skin that is still pretty wrinkle-free at 45. My problem is when I lost so much weight so fast a couple years ago I developed jowls. I swear I'm going under the knife for a lifestyle life in a couple years.
knit247
I like their Regenerist line. It's pricey, but good. That's what I use as well. I wash my face with Dove soap 2x/day and use Olay Regenerist. I also use Cetaphil (before the Dove) at night to wash off makeup.
Unicorn.
LOVE Oil of Olay!
Margo out of lurking
Oil of Olay is a cleanser? I thought it was just a moisturizer... They have a whole line, including the wash I use. It also comes in a version for sensitive skin.
mrsrevmeg
My grandmother and my great-grandmother( my g'father's mom) used to use Oil of Olay. They both had great skin. I can remember wanting to use it off my grandmother's dresser as a kid. I use the cleanser and the moisturizer now. Most people think I am younger than my husband. I'm the old one. :D
thescrappyhomeschooler
I use the plain old Oil of Olay every day, and at almost 42 yrs. old, I still get carded buying wine, so I guess it's working for me! :D
Princess Peach
I use Regenerist.
MomOfOneFunOne
Wow! What glowing (and youthful) recommendations. I happened to see it at the store the other day and it got me thinking. I actually noticed the one in the red pkg which I think is the regenerist line. I think I may give it a try. Bare Minerals . . . I may give that a look, too. Thank you! Chris in VA
Wow, I thought no one used it anymore! Dh always puts some of the basic pink lotion into my stocking. I find it's the perfect "weight"--not too light, not too heavy. I use Regenerist when I can afford it.
5forMe
I use the pink bottle Oil of Olay everyday. I LOVE it! Every morning when I put it on, the smell reminds me of my mom when I was growing up. I've even used it on my legs too after shaving....love how it just soaks into my dry skin. susankenny
I use Olay Complete for sensitive skin (facial lotion). I love it! I'm 40 and have used it for years. I use Aveeno to cleanse & Oil of Olay to moisturize. No shame here. Noxzema cold cream made me break out in high school (like a red itchy rash), so that was the one & only time I used that. It was awful. Susan
TXMomof4
I've used it for years. I love it. I recently switched to the Total effects 7 wash and moisturizer and it's great. And cheap.
coralloyd
I use the regular Oil of Olay every morning. I have since my early 20s now I am only 31. I also use Ponds at night to clean my face. Learned these from my aunt and grandma.
