Kay in Cal
I'm just curious! You can answer the poll multiple times, so pick thier top two... I had too many subjects and not enough room for the ever-popular "other", so please post if you have an "other". Beth in Central TX
This was a great reminder to me to ask this question more often now that my boys are getting older. I was surprised that all 3 boys listed math as their favorite subject. My middle son couldn't decide between math and science; he is my more indecisive child though. Titus.Two.Five
I have 5 children, and the favorites seem to be math for some, science for some, and latin for some. ;)

JenneinCA
My daughter (dd almost 10) would say reading, it isn't work for her. My older son (ds8) would say music. He loves playing piano. My little son (ds4) would say nothing. He complains about everything that isn't legos.

My kids and I both are amazed at how many of your children like Latin! We don't like it so much here. :glare:

Vanna
Ds 11 yo has picked History as his fave for years. Dd 8yo likes Math Ds 6yo will tell you what he doesn't like (Spanish, Grammar, History, just about all the subjects even though he's good at them) They all seem to enjoy doing Shurley 3 together as our first subject of the day this school year (they're gluttons for *punishment*, hee, hee, just kidding). I think that because they're doing it *together* it has made doing Grammar a more pleasurable experience.
sweetbaby
All of my dc love history which is odd because I hated it while in school. My younger ones also love science.
...................
is 6.5 and in first grade. He consistently says his favorite subject is Greek. :hurray: He also likes his Journal, so I voted for writing. He has always loved making up stories and writing ideas down, etc. I think the reason he still likes writing so much is because we haven't yet gotten to the nitty gritty...I am hoping to skip that altogether for quite a few years, actually. Parrothead
Dd just floored me. She is leaning on my shoulder reading along. I asked what her favorite subject is and she said math and Latin. We haven't started Latin yet and math was a battleground this week. Wow!
