Joanne Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 I am so excited! It represents SO much. The car I bought after the accident was from a 'buy here, pay here" lot. I didn't really have much choice. I needed to return to work and the totaled car was still on the books, so no one would finance me. But I've dumped thousands into that 2006 Pontiac G6. Thousands. It is almost paid for now, and will become my youngest son's; perfect for zooming around our suburb. But for me? It was unreliable, and this morning when I turned on the car and the electric kept failing between here and work, I knew. I took a chance that my income would close the gap between my credit rating and getting financed, and it did. It's a modest, but well rated, reliable car. I had to ask a couple of close friends who know "my story" for feedback, and what they said matched what I was thinking. I applied online, got called with approval at 5, and drive off the lot at 7.
