I don't know what you mean by this.

 

Nothing. It just looked to me like it was looking for something. There's a kids book with a beastie like that... When A Monster is Born. It reminds me of that.

Must cleanse palate.

 

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Yep, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes. :001_wub:  They're a replacement band that only does covers. They've got Fat Mike from NOFX, Joey from Lagwagon, etc. All of their albums are themed. They even have a show tunes album. It's hilarious. One of my favorite songs they do is their cover of Boyz II Men's "End of the Road."  I also love it when they cover Elton John...

 

I could listen to them all day. They crack me up.

Meh. I don't get the hoopla, either RR.  I think if people are having what seems to be rather benign fun, let 'em have fun.  Not everything is about me... or you... and it doesn't need to be.

I was curious so I asked.

 

It has obviously hit a nerve with people, which I don't understand.

 

I've answered questions about my signature at least a dozen times. And I've made it perfectly clear my avatar is of the best dog in the world.

 

I didn't think people would get their nighties in a knot over a question but I was wrong.

I don't think anyone's nerves have been hit.  I made an off the cuff remark just because it's a green hair thingy and I was being funny (not terribly so, but a teeny bit, I'd like to think).   I think you're getting a bit worked up more than mere curiosity seems to warrant, though.  Do you have some kind of beef with the green thingy?  Some history that makes it irk you?   If, not then just say meh. 

 

As a completely unrelated aside: I love that word. Meh. It's like Oy. So much said with so little.
