Night Elf
Other than a wedding band, do you have rings that you wear regularly? Many years ago, I had one that fit on my right index finger but I outgrew it and gave it to dd19. I want a new ring and I'm wondering what finger I want to wear it on. Dumb question, I know. :tongue_smilie:
Veritaserum
Before I got married I wore rings. Now I just wear my engagement ring and wedding band. My mom wears her birthstone ring on her right ring finger. She has for as long as I can remember.
Laura Corin
I wear my wedding band on the usual finger and a ring with a stone on the middle finger of my left hand. I never had an engagement ring, and Husband bought me the second ring ten years after we started going out together. I rarely take either of them off. Parrothead
I wear from 0-6 depending on my mood on any given day. My wedding ring is on the usual finger. My engagement ring is a bit unusual and does not go well with the wedding band on the same finger so I wear it on the middle finger, left hand. I have a few others that I wear on a variety of other fingers depending on what I"m doing or feeling on a particular day. Some days my allergies act up and I swell so badly I can't wear any. elegantlion
I have another ring I wear most of the time. It fits on the middle finger of my right hand.
Socalimom
I wear my wedding band and engagement rings. But I'm thinking of just wearing my engagement ring, less bling-bling for me.
Night Elf
Oh p.s. - what type of ring is it? birthstone? just a pretty stone, band? some type of theme?
Tigger
I wear my engagement ring mostly - sometimes I'll add my wedding ring, but my engagement ring is a three stone ring and works nicely on its own. On my right hand I'll sometimes wear a birthstone ring my dad gave me years ago. When we're going out, I have a couple of different cocktail rings I'll switch between depending on mood if I'm going to wear a ring.
Wildiris
I wear a simple band of gold and diamonds on my right index finger. Dear One bought me alarge Momento Mori (Remember your mortality) ring in the shape of a skull with red eyes (It sounds garish, but it is really a beautiful 18K gold ring). This I wear on my left index finger. Neither are wedding bands. I never leave home without putting these two rings on my hands.
*********
I don't wear gold, or pearls, or costly array. :) My wedding band is silver and not costly. We got rid of my gold enganment ring with a diamond, as well as my original gold band. It's just how we were convicted. I don't wear jewelry besides my silver wedding band. whiskeywife
I wear my wedding band and engagement ring on my left hand, and I wear a diamond and sapphire ring on my ring finger of my right hand.
Hoggirl
I wear two rings on my right hand: one on my ring finger and one on my pinky. I have just always liked how rings on those two fingers look on the right hand.
MamaT
I wear my engagement ring and wedding ring on my left ring finger. I wear a variety of different rings on my right hand depending on my mood, usually just one on my ring or middle finger.

Dumb question, I know. :tongue_smilie: I do, but it depends on the outfit and my mood as to which ring and which finger. I really like funky costume jewellery, and rings are a lot of fun for me. I always wear my wedding band, but I don't do engagement rings on principle, so I've got plenty of finger room for fun stuff.
Crissy
I wear my wedding ring, engagement ring and a thin, diamond anniversary band together on my left hand, and a thick, plain gold band on the ring finger of my right hand.
Jenny in Atl
I love rings..besides my wedding band, I mix any number of rings to fit my mood and/or activity. Here are a few of the ones I wear (not all at once :D ). Only finger I don't wear a ring on is my pinky.
Myeightkiddies
On good days I wear my wedding ring when I go into public. On really good days I can wear it and my blue topaz ring. At home and on bad days (I have RA) I don't wear any.

bcnlvr
Left = wedding band and 10th anniversary band on 4th finger. Right = personally significant ring on 4th finger.
fhjmom
I wear my wedding band and engagement ring on my left ring finger (white gold and diamond) and my college ring on my right ring finger (yellow gold). I graduated from Texas A&M where the ring style is one standard and hasn't changed ever, so it is a symbol that unites all Aggies. I often meet other Aggies simply because we notice each other's class rings. Also, it was lost for about 8 years and so I am extremely happy to have it back! JudoMom
I wear my wedding band on my left hand, and a beautiful ring my dh gave me for our 10th anniversary on my right (4th finger).
angela in ohio
I wear my wedding band on my left ring finger and a mother's ring (a series of three stones for each of my dc) on my right ring finger. That's it.
Wendi
I have a pretty 1920s cameo ring I bought at an antiques shop. It only fits my index finger; I never got it resized as I originally planned. So I wear it on my right index finger. I get a lot of compliments on it. Claire in NM
I don't always wear it because I usually take it off at night and I forget to put it on in the morning. However, when I leave the house I make a point to put it on. My engagement ring is another story. I will sometimes wear it. My fingers are so small that my ring size is 3. Who wears a size three ring? Little kids and me. My husband bought a .5 carat solitaire diamond ring. Unfortunately the diamond is mounted on 4 prongs and catches on everything. I've ended up with gashes on my ring finger because of this, and so I rarely wear my engagement ring. When the money becomes available, I will either have the diamond remounted to sit closer to the ring base, or I will have it made into a necklace.
