MamaAkins Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 1 small butternut squash 3 large unpeeled cooking apples 4 pork loin chops, ¾ inch thick (about 1¼ lb) ¾ cup sugar 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon salt 1-Peel squash. Cut squash in half; remove seeds. Cut squash into ½-inch slices. Cut apples into quarters; remove cores. Cut apple pieces in half crosswise. Remove excess fat from pork. 2-In 3½- to 6-quart slow cooker, layer squash and apples. In small bowl, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Coat pork with sugar mixture. Place pork on apples. My son asks "what kind of guy delivers meat at 10 pm?" All I could think of was the meat truck threads from here. :) Anyway, we're having burgers from our newly delivered beef. mcconnellboys Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 Well, I forgot to put the stew beef in the crock pot, so I'm thawing out a pound of Manda's all beef sausage and will slice it up, along with some potatoes and green beans, and roast them on a baking sheet in the oven with some salt, pepper, and a little olive oil on the vegis.....
