Cricket
Oh my!!! We are finally below 100 here in Arizona. I sat shivering at my ds's baseball game last night. It was 70! I do miss the snow though. It is so pretty....but Oct 8 is a little early!
Monkey Island Academy
What? No! Why is it snowing? I am in Wisconsin and it is currently 70 F. I am not ready to hear about snow! My condolences.
LidiyaDawn
Lucky! It's not snowing here yet.

Whereneverever
Send it here!! I'm ready for ski/snowboard season.:hurray: Wait, that season ends? I have pictures of my kids in the mountains in July- standing in snow. Ah, Wyoming! And you Colorado folks, too. :D
MariannNOVA
I'm jealous. It is so warm here, we cancelled the dog's grooming appointment at PetSmart, the kids put on their bathing suits and bathed the dog in the driveway. Last Friday (week ago yesterday) I spent most of the afternoon in the ocean up to my neck -- something that I have not done since my honeymoon 16 years ago. BWAAAAAAAAA-----I want snow. Whereneverever
It finally quit snowing yesterday! Wolf Creek opens today! I had to drive over the pass two days ago and lost 4WD at the very top--wasn't sure I was going to make it over--they hadn't plowed... It's currently 19 degrees here. Brrrrrrr. :grouphug:
danybug
We did not get any snow, but the kids are jealous that like a half hour from here in all directions got a few inches over night. This will be our first CO winter, so we shall see :001_smile:
LarlaB
No snow here...but sooooooo close we're 2-3 degrees too warm and its all rain. This is our first CO winter as well, so we're ridiculously excited to see what it's like. :D
jenL
Oh my goodness! Too early for snow! I'm amazed at all of you who live in snow country. While it's pretty and fine to have in Dec. and Jan., that's enough for me. :)
Lara in Colo
Snowing here. I just called my out of town neighbors to tell them that they lost a tree branch and to bring home their chainsaw. I also told them it snows nearly every time they leave town--so stop it--I have many memories of trudging over there to take care of her cats, today is just another one. Oh and the furnace kicked on for the first time this season, so the whole house has that funny "burnt dirt" smell. :ack2:
tammyw
Jealous! It's 80 here in S. California. I'm dying for cooler weather so I can at least wear sweaters.
BarbecueMom
:glare: It's going to be in the mid-80's until Wednesday. Which would be fine, except it's getting cold enough at night that I have to run the furnace and air conditioner in the same day! I could go without both, but the 15-degree temperature rise/drop in the house every day was aggravating my sinuses. It's either running those, or giving a urine sample, polygraph, and three references at Walmart to buy a pack of Sudafed.
MtnTeaching
We are supposed to get some snow tonight!! The fire is roaring in the fireplace right now! I was in shorts three days ago. :001_huh: I'm originally a Georgia girl, but have lived here for 11 years. The weather changes are still exciting to me! Jan in SC
Snow?? Is that the slushy stuff we have very three years. We never get enough to do anything exciting, but we always lose power.
ereks mom
Wow! We're enjoying a summer-like evening here-- a/c's running, and it's currently 73 degrees outside.

hsmom
Yep. Snowing away here. We finally got hit with it this morning. My dad who lives 2 1/2 hrs away has been getting snow non stop since yesterday evening. It is sticking enough to make it white. Not accumulating too much yet. Very very wet snow and so cold. Positive not. I love to see snow capped mountains and they are beautiful today!
Mommy22alyns
Wow! We went to the pumpkin patch and were sweating buckets today!
SJ.
It snowed here too! The best thing about living here is that the snow doesn't stick around. :D It is projected to be in the mid 60s this week, possibly 70s next weekend. SJ
k2bdeutmeyer
nooooo!!!!! I'm so not ready. It was 84 here today :) I'm loving it!
Whereneverever
So far we've had over 6 inches fall. My kids were thrilled- I am less so at this point. :glare:
jewellsmommy
Hey, I want snow! Where's my snow?!
veggiegal
No snow in Calgary yet this year, though two years ago we got a fair dump this weekend. (Which I remember because it is Thanksgiving weekend up here in Canada, and I was planning to drive with the boys to Winnipeg to visit family. Glad we didn't). So yeah, a little early, but if you are near mountains, you know snow can fall most anytime of the year. Hope you got out the sleds and made the most of it.
