KidsHappen
Rough day here. We are having him cremated and the remains returned to us. Total vet bill will be right at $1000. Here are a few pictures of our beloved kitty, Ducky. He has been with us almost as long as our youngest dd.
salinda
Our beloved cat Pepper had to be put to sleep after being with us for 16 years. She had cancer. I have lost a dear friend and feel so much sadness. I sympathize with you loss.
NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
I'm so sorry. :grouphug: We lost our 17 year old calico to liver problems (undiagnosed), probably tumor just 2 months ago. There is a noticeable "hole" in our family and the house seems too quiet. I still cry over her at least once a week. Give yourself time to grieve. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. K

kalanamak
I'm sorry. This brings back memories of summer I did hospice care in the garden because kitty didn't want to come inside or be touched. She dozed under the catnip, but would only let me put my finger out to touch her nose. I got so grubby lying in the garden all day, hand outstretched. When she was finally too weak to move when I lifted a hand, I took her in and had her put down. You could see the tumor had distorted the inside of her mouth and affected her eye. Time to go. What a good cat.

ereks mom
They practically become members of the family, don't they? Our dear Kitty is 17yo and has recently gone blind. He's in good health, however, but I am dreading the day when his health declines.
