  1. Is anything more disheartening than throwing in the towel and calling to order pizza...only to have no one answer and realize you need to cook after all?

I tried to call the place in town, and the places 10 miles away don't deliver. :( The kids were happy with stuffing and canned vegetables.

My husband is lactose-intolerant, so that's the first thing we tried. I've been off dairy for almost a month now. Somehow it seems to be making it worse. Poor little baby. :(

I'm so sorry. While I hate the pain it causes my ds to be lactose-intolerant, I was and am so grateful that we were able to figure it out, to KNOW what the problem was and to have a way to fix it. I hope you are able to find what is ailing the poor little guy.

My son was like that when he was an infant. He had stomach aches a lot as a child, and now at age 24, he is both gluten free and dairy free and feels terrific. I think all along he had issues with that, even as an infant.

  3. 6 kids who use pencils. Two sharpened pencils in the house. Broken pencil sharpener. Send help. (Imagine I'm typing this in crayon.)

      TGHEALTHYMOM

I found a cheap battery operated sharpener at Big Lots and it is working great! I have to hide the pencils in different places so we don't run out! I also have to hide the sharpener! Kids ruined my best electric sharpener with Crayons :(

  4. I'm having red wine with my hamburger helper dinner. In my defense, it's a new "classy" flavor.

  5. I wonder how much longer it will take for my children to realize I cut off more than a foot of my hair.

LOL the shelters here have a major beagle surplus. My husband is trying valiantly to prevent me from bringing all of them home.

  7. I needed to finish the box so that none of the remaining cheez-its could tempt me. This is why I don't normally buy them.

  8. Reading all these recommendations from the SLP and OT have me convinced that I am the source of every challenge in my children's lives. I have awesome genes for longevity but poor genes for functionality.

  9. Confession: sometimes I steal my daughter's slap bracelet so that I can play with it.

If she has long hair, get a hairgami-it's basically two snap bracelets attached together, covered with cloth. I have several around for dance, and they're just plain fun.
