Elfknitter.#
I was going to post a, "Show me your I Voted! sticker" thread but CNN beat me to pictures from across the US. Here's the link: https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/06/us/voting-stickers-50-states-trnd/index.html Mine is there (CA). If you don't see yours, post it! Tanaqui
I have the NYC one, and I really like it. But yes, Alaska's is the cutest.
dirty ethel rackham
Our county must be using up old stickers because ours don't look anything like the ones shown in that link. It is a stodgy design, much like an embossed design for a university, trying to look steady and traditional.
mamakelly
My California sticker doesn’t look like sticker in the link.
LucyStoner
Washington is all vote by mail (WHICH I LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️). So no stickers. We get a paper stub to track our ballot though so that’s something more valuable to me.
umsami
Florida is boring. We have a US flag and a "I Voted" type thing. I was fine with it, until some friends from Georgia posted theirs. 1

I have my GA one if you want it.
frogger
Three times a year I vote and have only ever recieved an Alaskan flag sticker. Obviously, my precinct isn't special enough for King Crab. ?

Amy in NH
No stickers here this year. My poll workers said they used up the last of their old stickers at the last election and haven't gotten more.
Dmmetler
I got the plain "flag plus I voted" one as opposed to the cute TN shaped one. I heard a lot of sites ran out, so maybe mine was using old ones? My iPad case is wearing it now.
Miss Mousie
I don't mean to rain on the parade, but the stickers stick in my craw. Given the shaky financial situation in my state (and likely many others), I think those dollars could be far better spent than on stuff that goes straight in the trash. #curmudgeon /rant
happi duck
Since polling places keep the stickers from year to year perhaps those who drop them straight in the trash could hand it back and say "no thanks". Imo, the stickers have value as a reminder, encouragement, and for camaraderie.

And not even in the trash in a lot of cases - we saw them stuck to the ground in many places yesterday. Elfknitter.#
People can always decline receiving a sticker. When my kids were little, I used to give mine to them. As anything, not everyone will like them. I'm just in the camp that does. ?
BarbecueMom
I just had the generic white oval sticker with the flag, the only kind I've ever had. I was out and about yesterday with kids at various activities/appointments, and from what I could gather, more decorative/attractive stickers usually came from nicer suburban neighborhoods. If I stop and think about it, it bothers me. On the one day where everyone is supposed to have an equal voice, you walk out with a sticker showing what class of neighborhood you were able to vote in. On the other hand, they all pay more property taxes than me. ?

Thanks for not getting too upset with me for butting in on your happy thread. ?

Angie in VA
I saw variation by county and coveted another county's sticker. I asked a young man (late teen/early 20s) if he'd trade and he refused. Kinda like that he wanted to keep his!
